Anyone who watched the rugby at Murrayfield yesterday will see why the game should be called off in wind like this.

Fucking awful as a spectacle, a complete lottery of a game and god forbid we end up losing this place will be in full meltdown demanding to know why it wasn't called off.

The above pales into insignificance when we start to talk about the safety of 55K fans trying to get to the game in such shit and dangerous weather.

We might actually manage to score with a wind assisted goal. ;)

No idea. I haven't checked the forecast for Sheffield but it's 40 miles away and on the other side of the pennines from Manchester so it's not really relevant.

Except that the forecast for Sheffield is worse.

Flying out of Manchester then mate. Short drive to the game today, but I can see it going ahead with a low attendance, thousands stranded with lack of public transport and not wanting to risk the motorway.

Interesting how all women’s football is off including a sell out Arsenal v Spurs match, racing, rugby and other stuff all cancelled but BBC says the two premier league games are likely to go ahead. I wonder why. Sky don’t give a fuck wheher people can get there or not as long as they can show it.
