West Ham - post match thread

How old is the wet spam keeper?

He looked like he could play in our sweeper keeper type role had we not gone for Bravo.

4 games played.

4 goals scored after 85 mins

0 conceded after 75 mins

Too many listen to Redknapp and co and take what they say as gospel unfortunately.

We out run teams, out pass them, out shoot them and out score them yet we are not fit enough pmsl.

One of the blessings of not watching on Sky and being able to have a go at Keys and Gray.

If/when we lose it won't be down to laziness of ineptness. It seems every player has bought into Pep and his ideas.
That 1st half is as good as I can remember, and having watched the game on sky I can honestly say we weren't as bad in the 2nd half as they made out! Yes we weren't quite as fluid, but Sky did everything they could to try an make out we were under the cosh!! Know one would have battered an eye lid if we'd won that by 5 or 6. They scored from one attack and they only had 2 or 3 mini breaks the entire game.

Goes to show what proper coaching does. Whilst I'm happy with the new signings, the improvement from the existing players is what is most impressive! To a man they all seem to have improved. We just look fresh all over the pitch.
I never thought the game was in doubt.

I've not seen the sky coverage but it sounds like from the comments on here their editorial is different from what I saw. I knew we'd score a late goal. It was the perfect reposte to those Stretford wankstains.

The first half was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. One of the best football I've ever seen in recent football, let alone in City. If we sustain that for 90 minutes we would be unplayable. We did shoot ourselves when we couldn't make anything more out of our many chances. Second half we got on the back foot a bit with Clichy caught out of position a few time, I suspect because Stones wasn't moving that well and someone had to take the middle while Otamendi was occupied with that big number 24 bloke.

Disappointed because we couldn't score more the game early on indicated that it could have gone that direction, but a win is a win.

Met Bilic several times when he was at Everton as he lived next door to my in laws.
Excellent bloke. Use to come round for drinks on Xmas day and bring pressies.
His nickname at the time was the Assassin but honestly you couldn't have met a nicer guy.
He really seems it mate his stint In the euros as well was very watchable, very nice bloke

I'll say again, had the game finished 6 or 7 against one. Not one west ham would have had cause for complaint.

No idea how easily led some cunts are on here by watching sky but there was literally only one side in this game.

He played well, but look at Bravo's highlights on YouTube & you'll see why he wants him. He plays in a completely different way to what we're used to. I can see exactly why Pep wants this kind of keeper. Today Willy was the the man starting some of our most dangerous moves.
