West Ham United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread | Champions of England

To be fair if they don't bring it up they'll get criticised for ignoring it. They can't win really.

Ian Wright shut it down fast, to his credit. Just said he wants the case to be resolved so this City team can be properly recognised for what it is. A good man, Ian Wright. Loads of time for him.
I don’t remember the scouser’s title celebrations being tarnished with mentions of hacking our youth system database and they were guilty of that. It is not the time to mention it.

So the morning after the afternoon before.....

Another incredible achievement, the run since the turn of the year has been amazing, and the thing is, it was expected... that's the powerhouse you've become.

The fact that so much of this thread does not even mention your quieter neighbours, also tells you how far you've come, and how disillusioned you've made them.

I was talking to a blue mate on Saturday who'd came.round to watch the boxing, about the difference between you and the rags these days.

And how progressive City have become in comparison....

When you had the Aguero moment, and we joined in at the Stadium of light, it was incredible.
How do they replace Yaya...enter Fernandinho...then how do you replace him.
Rodri...
How do you replace David Silva / Aguero etc etc...Foden, Bernardo etc have stepped up, and are amazing....
And in truth, you cant always just replace these.players, but you can adapt your style to be without them.....and that is the genius of Mr Guardiola... he knows you can't always get like for like, but you can get close and adapt...the planning for the next cycle is always there..Bobb, Doku etc.....who as with Foden early in his career, will continue to play more and more.

And the contrast, as the quiet neighbours, who largely attempt marquee signings Casemeiro, Varane etc in an attempt to stir up social media interest etc....but where is the cycle of forward planning... it smacks of desperation...as they know they aren't just beaten, but thry have been humiliated.

As for opposing fans who will talk about money and charges.... fuck them... it is only jealousy, do I wish the sheikh had took over Sunderland??
Hell yes.....

But he took over City...the money helps hugely, But doesn't guarantee success....the infrastructure, and the whole development of what was Eastlands has just been stunning....

The elephant in the room is not the charges, it's how do you replace the most driven sporting genius of all time as and when the time comes....

In the meantime.....congratulations to you all, you are one of the nost loyal fanbases ever....and look forward to another amazing season next year....

Yet again MOTD bring up the 115 charges during our title analysis. What a disgrace, a public funded broadcaster trying to rain on our moment of joy, the same thing happened last year.

Credit to Sky, they didn't. They are still biased arses who will have a pop at us soon no doubt. But for however long that was yesterday, they didn't mention it and focused on the players the manager and the celebrations.

The annoying thing was they built it up over the last few weeks that I just kept waiting for the 115, to get it over with. So the annoyance was still there. Top psychological warfare from them!
