If Dzeko starts over Negredo I will fucking lose it.

wow i was coming to say just that,

He's going to start against West Ham, CSKA or Chelsea. Which would displease you the least?

No idea why I feel so cocky (especially after Westham just deconstructed Spurs to their basic parts and used their fans tears as lube for their celebrations) but I'd like to see a youngster on the bench, Pozo hopefully.

No more mistakes can be made, we have to start winning away matches or we simply wont even reach 30 points from away matches. Thats worse than Mancini's records last two season.

Hope Pellegrini spends the next two weeks watching videos about WHU's style and he comes up with the right tactics against them. But I hoped the same in the internatonal break before the Stoke match and what we played there was really awful vs a Hughes team.

If we try to save some energy for the CSKA match well we wont come home with 3 points from London.

Hopefully no injuries in the break and also hope Kompay could be back because if he is injured for a longer time the next 4 away matches in a row could be very hard for the defence without him.

Agree with this. I don't understand the attitude that other teams should adjust to how we play. It's arrogant and a recipe for defeat. We should tailor our team and tactics towards the opposition and not expect to win purely because we have the best players.

I'm not sure the superior team should ever change their style to suit the opposition, maybe if you're only playing for a point or to see an aggregate lead out, then yes maybe. But never should the superior team think about changing their style and formation/tactics to suit a lesser side, play our own game and let the opposition worry about dealing with us. I know it sounds arrogant but IMO its true, can you imagine Dortmund or Bayern changing their system against the likes of Greuther Fürth, I don't think that would ever happen. Or the likes of Barca or Madrid playing a different style because Almeria are in town.
I agree with you. I just don't think this system we currently work is the best for us.

Negredo should start against West Ham and Moscow with Dzeko starting against Newcastle in the cup. I wouldn't play either of them against Chelsea. Probably won't be the case though, I can see us losing points this season due to constantly rotating the strikers.

I think we'll have to change to a 4-5-1 or a 4-1-4-1 for this game, if West Ham line up to stop our midfield like they did against Spurs then this game will be very much like the Cardiff and Stoke games.

They will play like an away side and pack the defence but try to hit us on the break, if they get lucky like they did against Spurs then they'll get a goal and have something to defend. They let Spurs have all the possession but got the three points, this will be Pellegrini's chance to show us he has learnt from the Cardiff and Villa defeats. Let's hope we can win this, the Chelsea game should be more open because both teams will try to play football, which means it should be a lot more open.

I think once we do find the system that suits us best, then we should stick with that against any side in the prem, obviously exceptions can be made for superior European sides, Barca, Bayern, etc.

Where do all the blues drink before the game in West Ham? First time going and we get into Euston at 1.45. Thanks

We can't afford to drop more points away from home so hopefully we will get 3 points. Negredo must start

All of them, if YaYa, Sergio, Silva, Fern, are all able to play those 3 games why can't Negredo ? so as someone who is trying his best to win a game i go the old fashioned way and pick my best team,

The old fashioned way didn't require the best players to play potentially up to 38 league games, 20+ cup games and 15+ internationals in a season.
