What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

City’s kits are nearly always absolutely shit. We have only ever had about half a dozen nice kits in my lifetime (I’m 40 this year). New York City’s kit from last season is better than any home shirt we’ve ever had.

Not sure that would qualify as an "unpopular" opinion, to be honest.

Stewards telling fans not to stand.
You always have the option of watching the game on TV on your sofa.

All seater stadiums in which many people prefer to stand. Especially away and at Wembley. Try asking them to sit and see what happens. They don't give a shit.
Stewards are about as effective as chocolate fireguards.
Don't worry - I much prefer TV football these days. Less hassle all round.

You’re missing the whole point. It’s not the ‘ask your questions’ thread, it’s the ‘give your unpopular opinions thread’.

Having said that, it would be very easy for you to rejig the gist of your words by posting ‘I hope that this thread ends up like RAWK where the mods remove any posts that aren’t deludedly entitled‘. ;-)

Nothing untoward in my comment Gus. It's not uncommon for even the most intelligent people to come across a bit 'awkwardly' in conversation in a second/third language, particularly with people they don't really know.

I think you've nailed it there. There's a bit of a hangover from hating Txiki/Ferran too because they're seen as the guys who got rid of Mancini to bring their own guy in. Pellegrini was dubbed a yes man and a stopgap and now they don't really like Pep for the same reasons.

Bizarre, isn’t it.

The most successful Manager in our history, hands down - playing the best football any City fan has ever been lucky enough to witness - and they can’t get behind it and fully enjoy it after all their years of hard slog because they hold a grudge over how Mancini was sacked.

He’s moved on - we should to!

10 years ago, the chasm between those two (re the hatred I feel for them) was huge. You could even say, er, "massive". While our quiet neighbours still top the list, that gap has significantly narrowed.
