You lost me at Nick Hornby, although to be fair I did enjoy the film of High Fidelity.

Just finished it and I was suitably impressed. I've had a quick look at the reviews for Old Man's War and that might be next on the list.

I've bought it(spit) and started it earlier. All good so far, but I'm only a couple of chapters in.
