CB: With Boyata coming back from Bolton..Savic is still only 21 yrs old and to me still has a lot potential ! so I'd like to see him either get loaned out next season to a top club that would give him constant playing time..

CDM: I love De Jong's tenacity but after last season we've become more of an attacking team wich we all know De jong is not the best attacking midfielder.. In a perfect world he'd be the best bench CDM but I'm sure at 26-27? hes gonna want to start more games on the pitch then on the bench...We need someone who can help attack yet at the same time have the same work rate to get back and defend
Possible Players: Martinez (Atletico Bilbao), M'Villa (Stade Rennes), Bender (Dortmund), Moutinho (Porto)..

Winger: We have a beautiful front 4..but when ever teams park the bus we seem to run out of ideas.. so instead of us getting another CAM (Sneijder, Lucas, Ramirez, Ginovinco..Etc) i'd like to see Mancini invest into a young winger who would have to prove what hes got to come off the bench..
Possible Players: Iturbe(Porto),Labyad (PSV), John (FC Twente)...


Strikers: Dont think we need any new strikers and with the hopeful additions to a winger or two we may soon see the best of Dzeko. Hopefully if we can get Gudietti out on loan with a passing type of team he will become a great addition to our catalog of Strikers..

Diarra who came on for Mvila last night looked a quality player in the holding midfield role. Strong,skillful,good passer and more versatile than the aging Barry or NDJ. I do think we need to strengthen in that position and he`s an ideal replacement. He could also sit in for YAYA to give him a rest.

I would like Sneijder(just to pi$$ the rags off) but he only plays about half the games in a season so not sure he is the one? Martinez perhaps who can play both holding and CB

We definately need a winger so one of Levezzi/Ramierez/giovinco/Bale?

Think we should just keep with what weve got up front unless someone leaves. People forget that in a rotational system our strikers still scored bucket loads of goals..and will do again. Add to that our midfield scorers and we have enough goals in our current team to compete but a shake up in midfield and out wide is certainly needed along with a world class defender..hopefully Thiago silva but if not i`d got for Hummels or Subotic?

What we need is a world class midfielder like Martinez who can slot in at CB if needed, a lightening quick winger and a striker in the mould of Falcao if both Dzeko and Tevez leave.

Our priority has to be selling players first which is why there is a lack of transfer activity so far i think.

I think we should all watch some Bilbao clips where Javi Martinez played the role of CB before suggesting if he can play CB , Trust me he is a makeshift CB that's as "good" as Savic and i don't think we would need 2 "savic like" CB .

Best deal would be to get Javi Martinez in the MF (although i still prefer KPB in MF) and then get Thiago Silva by offering Tevez to Milan .

Falcao sounds nice but Cavani would fit the 4-2-3-1 formation better as he is as hard working as tevez but stronger and very tall better still maybe we might just keep Dzeko and get an orthodox "antonio valencia like" winger runs down the wings and gives aerial crosses the same way mata does in Chelsea and the only winger i can think of now is Bale.
A team like Arsenal can take the risk in using a makeshift defender (Midfielder playing as CB) but for a team interested in retaining the title it would be suicidal.

Lucas, Ramirez and Giovinco are all pretty much wingers.

Labyad has already gone to Sporting Lisbon and Benfica have bought John.

Kolo is still good cover at CB, but we should bring back Boyata as additional cover. Better than Savic, and Micah can help out as needed. Let Savic go, make room for the kids coming through.

The lad needs a break,he's a very good prospect,letting him go now makes no sense.Boyata certainly isn't any better.

I plus 1000 this. Give Savic a break he's 21 and was super promising till people started crusading him after the Liverpool game. I have a lot of faith in him and why bother Mancini won't sell him.

I agree Savic is still a kid on a learning curve. He hasn't realised his potential yet and I am sure this is what the boss would think. Lets all cut him some slack.
