What has been your worst moment following our club?

Know where you're coming from but the bad bits make us what we are today. My first game was 79 so didn't see much 'glory', yet some of these games, home and away have been the funniest time of my life. The match was an excuse for a piss up mostly ;). I do stand back and appreciate what's happening now though. Probably the best football England has ever seen.

Edit: Was quoting(or trying to Its a barm. And I agree, it's a barmcake ;)

Pa Bollo was in the RAF so I’ve spent most of my life as the only City supporter in the village. In 1981 I was in junior school in Uxbridge, where the vast majority of kids were Spuds. For reasons too complicated to go in to here, Bollo Snr had a few connections at the Lane so we got tickets to the FA Cup final and the replay, but for the replay we were firmly in the away ends. There are plenty of memories but it felt like the very end of something that night. Turns out I was right.

For some reason the 3-1 at Hull in the 1987-88 reason always sticks in the memory. We’d driven from Whitby (Pa B at Fylingdales), I think it was raining and it felt like there were about 20 people tops at Boothferry. Also, the 2-0 defeat at Carlisle in ‘83 (Pa B at RAF Boulmer). More rain. City’s approach seemed to rest on bankrupting Carlisle by sending all their match balls into the Eden.

Luton 83 - first relegation supporting the blues and took me ages to recover from it… balled my eyes out for days

Wigan cup final
Champions league final.
Nothing come close to how I felt after these two, maybe champions league final just wins it. The shit we went through was almost expected so never felt as bad as I did during these two.

one pre takeover would be that Boro last game of the season to get into Europe. Fowler missing that pen was gut wrenching. Probably helped as well never had a squad to deal with Europe. City all over though. Playing at home, in our away kit with David James up front. What a club

I always remember the Fulham 2-3 @ home in 2008 after being 2-0 up as being particularly bad for me. It just felt as it became apparent that Sven would be sacked, that all the excitement at the start of the previous summer with Thaksin’s takeover, was to be yet another false dawn and the club was ultimately cursed in some manner, destined to failure. Felt like we’d never ever get it right.

If only I knew what was around the corner 5 months later.
