Why was he flying Ryanair. You'd think Etihad could russle him up a private jet.

I asked the same or at least they could have reserved him 3 seats...but was definitely the man himself as my mate had a quick word with the 2 blues who confirmed it.

It does amaze me that whilst every football club on earth would kill to have guys like Ferran and Txiki running their business, we have City supporters bitter as fuck and criticising them before they've even had an opportunity to do anything substantial, simply because Mancini got sacked.

They got rid of our most successful manager in recent times who has won silverware at every club he has managed and replaced him with a manager has has failed to win a trophy during his 10 years or so in Spain.

Now whether or not you think they have made the right choice and/or were justified in doing so, I would call that doing something fairly substantial.

I hope they will be a tremendous success at City. Time will tell but I see no reason for people not to voice any concerns they have, just as you did regarding Mancini. It is a after all a discussion forum.

Not true. Mancini would've gone no matter who was in charge because his relationship with everyone at the club was fucked. It's a shame that this myth is going to continue to be perpetuated endlessly. They chose his replacement, but ultimately Mancini going was solely Mancini's doing.

He was sacked under their management so they're likely to cop some flack for that rightly or wrongly.

It seems to me that most Blues are behind them at the moment and the fans reaction to them is likely, initially at least, to depend on the success of the man they have appointed and their dealings in the transfer market. I have my doubts but I'm usually wrong anyway.
