They'll stick with MP, obviously. 5 trophies in 5 seasons doesn't mean you need 1 a year. Incidentally I seem to remember that Ferran and Txixi won't be counting the league cup towards that total.

is that right?

I think so, I think it was said that we want at least 5 trophies in 5 years, this was then clarified as 'by trophies I mean the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup'. It might actually have been Khaldoon who said that.

Even should every (further)disaster possible strike the club and all those things happen, he would be backed unanimously and totally by the board. Not a shadow of a doubt. The club has undergone a revolution under him. Everyone at City is delighted with him. Those who think otherwise are deluded.

Difficult to know whether we will be stronger next eason or not. Squad wise we will be but perhaps some of the surprise element in terms of how we play, will be lost.

If it wasn't for Mourinho I think Id be more confident about next season.

Whatever happens this season has been fantastic but it will be a crying shame if this team didn't win the league but, because of our injuries, and bloody Jose, I dont think we will.

You are aware that by adding aguero, fern and Nasri we would of pasted the chavs Monday???

FFs, some right drama queens on here, 1 loss in 20 and we're in free fall

I think any year we don't win anyyhing has to be considered a disappointing one.

But not much we can do but carry on and do better next season. I wouldnt expect major changes to squad or management.

If we don't win the league cup I worry we won't win owt but top 3 and playing the football we have been is Ok by me in this transitional season!

it could be worse you could be a rag fan in there "Transitional" period!

We can't let last years fa cup farce happen again, the players need to be in a mindset of not just turning up. Sunderland once again proved how dangerous they were at the stadium of light earlier this season.
Dangerous , you mean lucky

They got the 3 points where we never looked like scoring.
As I said lucky.

Yet another Pessimistic thread.

What about if we win all four!!!!

That is how i am thinking.

thats the viewpoint i have, granted the champions league is a big ask but not unattainable

but the other 3 we are favorites or a worst joint favorites, it can be done

Of course the four is unlikely but fucking hell, some of the pessimists on here.

We should beat Sunderland if we play to our best
We beat Chelsea and we are in the last 8 of the cup (or is it 16)
We can beat Barca over 2 legs but obviously a lot of great teams in that comp still
We go on another run in the league and I am confident that is ours as I reckon Chelsea and Arsenal will both drop more points than us.

I know what you mean but I would have said the same at the start of the season. I think we've done extremely well, and the future is bright, but this season, in terms of pots I think we will get one. Without our injuries I think 2 or maybe even 3.

Fern Aguero and Nasri all played at the Bridge and it was close so I dont think we would have pasted them.
