What if we win 'nowt?

On a more positive note if we play our strongest possible line ups against Chelsea and Sunderland in the cups then we have an excellent chance of winning both games.barcelona games are a 'bonus' IMO.
I personally think the fa cup tie will define our pl campaign.if we knock the t••ts out then we are on to something 'special' this season
We WILL win the treble.....mark my words

If we win nothing, then i expect the club to fully back the manager, including the fans. We know where we have gone wrong this season, and it wasn't against Chelsea. We have turned our away form around now and we take that into next season we are much stronger. Add to that its the best football i've ever seen and we would be crazy to think any other way.

In reality i think we will win the LC and league. FA Cup might be an ask with Barca only 4 days after the Chelsea game and the injuries. I really dont know what to expect in the Barca game, i still think were considerable underdogs.

I hope we win the league and the league cup, that's what I'm hoping for. I think the league is a must, would be nice to win it again and not be a one off.this team we have is amazing and we need silver wear to back it up,all these broken records of quickest team to 100 goals and what have you mean jack s##t without silver wear. If we go out of the CL in the next two rounds then that's not a bad thing to loose to barca(which I think are there for the taking if our defence can hold out) but I think we will do some form of a double this year.

Given the quality of our squad it will be real failure if we don't win, at least, one trophy this season. We should be beating Sunderland to take the Capital One Cup as an absolute minimum. As for the other competitions:-

The FA Cup is a 50/50 call, if we get through the Chelsea match then I'd say that puts us as favourites to win the competition. However, aside form the game being an away match, it's about as hard as we could have imagined. Chelsea, and Mourinho, are the side best placed to deal with what we have to offer, and with Nasri, Aguero and Fernandinho all likely to still be missing, we won't be facing them with anythign like our strongest lineup.

The league is, in my opinion, between us and Chelsea. Yes Arsenal are currently top of the league, but I just can't see them lasting the distance, and I think they'll fall away over the next couple of months. Our fate will be sealed by how we fair in our tough away matches. United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton all away will be where the title is won and lost.

As for the Champion's League, I think we need to be realistic. This is the first time we have ever reached this stage of the competition, and we've drawn a team with experience and talent to burn. We'll do very well to make it past Barcelona, and even then we've still got a host of tough opponents we could face. If we make it past Barca then it's all down to luck of the draw. We could end up with United or Arsenal, Dortmund or PSG in the next round, which whilst tough, I would view as winnable. Chelsea too for that matter. However I think this is at least a season too soon for us to win this trophy.

So, at least 1 trophy, and I'd really like 2. 3 would be a long shot, but would mark a fantastic achievement. 4 is a pipe dream really.

Been going for 35 odd years, wouldn't be first year we won nothing n hardly be the last, if we don't we try to come back stronger next year

If anyone is *that* sure we won't win anything, If I remember correctly We're 30/1 to go trophyless on Paddy Power

If we win nowt I'll think we've underachieved as we deserve something. Should that happen I'll still be glad we've got one of the strongest sides in Europe, and am confident we'll be even stronger next season.
