It is hard to give up hope totally, yet. I can't help wishing for a weird and (decisive) turn around, if only because it's happened every so often in the past, including the 67/68 season.

The situation in 67/68 wasn't as vast as it is now unfortunately. Let's just make sure we finish second and analyze what went wrong over the summer?

No, but I'm pretty sure we need to win our last three games and they needed to lose at least two of theirs, all of which happened.

the chance we have is if the premier league realise they have been nobbled and having robbed wigan at the week-end the ref will be instructed to "make amends" albeit against their cash cow.

I was only thinking this earlier - the FA owe Wigan big time after the weeekend and there is no way any dubious decisions could possibly go Uniteds way, could they???!!!!

They didn't rescind Derry's red. They are a shameless bunch of bastards. The rags will have three pens and Wigan will have at least two sent off before half time.
yes but our away form was pretty good

You want to put money on that?

In the laughably unlikely event that the rags fail to beat Wigan tomorrow but we pick up three points convincingly V West Brom, would you give us a prayer of winning league? If we weren't playing like twatzoids, I'd have hope in that scenario, were it nit fiwe look a million miles off the pace and would probably fail to take advantage of a United slip.

What say you?

Win all 6 and maybe

No can't see us winning the next six games it reminds of Sven's spell in charge, now everyone knows how to play us there's no plan B and Mancini just doesn't have the balls to throw caution to the wind and go all out attack .
That is not the spirit:(

A pessimist is an optimist with experience.

No unfortunately no

Yes, actually. Well, sort of.

after playing against a crap qpr side, the gloirious manure could only score 1 against them ( and with 10 men) ..am forgetting the 1-0 advantage by the ref!

wigan are a better side and i expect a draw or wigan win!!

The rags are bound to mess up at some point in the near future, if you look at their last matches most are dragged out last minute wins. I can see them draw or lose 2 games to go.

I just said it in the pre match thread.

It's not over yet. Wigan took Chelsea pretty close, we will stuff WBA, lift the camp, Everton are playing well as they always do in the dying games.

Come the fuck on City!

If Everton get to the final, they may just take their eye off the ball.... players don't want to get injured and suspended etc.....

Easy for them now as we have completely lifted the pressure off them. They can just go out and play. Only everton look capable and that is unlikely at the swamp .

We won't win 6 though as we are playing crap.
