What is everybody's best local day out from the area

Tyninghame Beach and adjoining Forrest. It is a magical place. If you ever get the chance go there. Take food and a wee refreshment, a blanket, binoculars if you have them, a loved partner, although, ugly single cunts would also enjoy it, they deserve it, they’ve had a terrible time of it. Anyway, all welcome. Well not all. If you’re a messy, obnoxious, music blaster, classless utter ****. You are fine where you are.
Why the binoculars?
Is it difficult to get close to the car park after dusk?

Went to Lyme Park and Hall a couple of weeks ago for the first time since I was at primary school - quite a while ago! - and enjoyed it very much. I see Quarry Bank mentioned above which I've never visited and that's on the list.

Now I've moved away from Manchester my favourite day out will be travelling to 19 league games and some cup matches from my current pad.

Previously a couple of hours away horse racing at Market Rasen.

Lots of choices. Just been to styal today with the dog funnily enough and there or Errwood Hall with the family is great, free too.

Personally I love a pub crawl through town or, opposite side of the scale the solitude and drama of a Peak District walk. Monsal Trail, Kinder, Cave Dale...just as long as it's quiet.
