Very popular during lockdown, got ridiculous at times, could just about navigate past the park cars on Greenfield Road until the Bobbies intervened.Me and Mrs Biggy enjoy a walk around Dovestones resoviour with the dog at weekends.

I'd rather be in WellsWhen I lived in Manchester (1984-2007) our day trips were
1) Manchester - great museums and art galleries. Transport Museum was a particular favourite. Afflecks Palace and lunch and a pint at ‘The White Lion’ in Castlefield
2) Stockport and Altrincham - the Saturday markets
3) Formby Beach - and the chance to see the red squirrels
4) Macclesfield - the Silk Museum
5) Matlock Bath, Derbyshire - Heights of Abraham cable car
6) Warrington - IKEA. Hated this apart from the hot dogs
Loved my Manchester years and really miss that great city.
Now I recommend Wells, Somerset.
Belhaven beach in Dunbar is superb.I’ve been to all those beaches and the water is bloody freezing. Too cold even for the midges who prefer the campsites and lochs in the Highlands.
It must be the most difficult job there is - promoting the idea that Scottish beaches are worth visiting. OK for dog walkers well wrapped up in winter clothing.
The beaches in Cornwall are superb - beautiful sand and warm water.
They need to make the car park biggerVery popular during lockdown, got ridiculous at times, could just about navigate past the park cars on Greenfield Road until the Bobbies intervened.
It was 16C the other day on the channel sideBelhaven beach in Dunbar is superb.
The water in Cornwall on the Atlantic side is “fresh”. The beaches in Cornwall are, as you say, superb.
Muskoka chairs. What is it with Canada and those chairs ?
I've been to the C47 Skytrain wreck downhill from there in Ashton Clough...Still not made it up to the B29 yet. I've heard of people having weird experiences at that site. The moors where I live doing a big walk tomorrow to bleaklow head to show mrs snake the crash site of the B-29 bomber which was tragically named over exposed , the views are stunning but when you get to the site it’s very somber, anyone who fancies doing the walk go from glossop and not from the top of the snake pass as the walk is absolutely amazing great views of the metropolis of M/CR.
