When Fergie dies...

And that excuses his diabolical inhumane behaviour?

Give me a break, so if Hitler had been manager of Bayern Munich, that had excused people celebrating his demise? NOT

We'll wash over the fact you just compared a football manager to a dictator responsible for killing millions.

Have you ever met the guy and what is this "diabolical inhumane behaviour"?

nailed on he'll die 2 days before they play us at OT.

nailed on the fixture at OT the season after, will be the weekend of the 1st anniversary.

He will probably also die on the same day of the Munich aircrash aswell.

Hope he isn't 'nailed on' to anything...

... don't want him coming back after 3 days to start all over again!

I find him amusing - his mind games, his arrogance, his snidey comments, his hypocrisy. If you let him get under your skin he has already won. He is a luaghable manipulative drunk. It's great entertainment. I can barely recall a single critical article on him - all the journo's too fearful of being blacklisted at the Theatre of shite. Shame on the press.

All that said, he has been a winner and you have to respect that. When anyone dies, false eulogising makes me puke - but equally so does crass triumphalism.

I don't think it can be compared to the Munich anniversary though - that was young men cut down early in their prime. Ferguson's death will not be a tragic event - but still worthy of at least some silence.

Some pretty poor comments on here to be honest. First of all, it is a human being who hasn't done anything wrong but do his job well and that includes getting under the skin of rivals and playing mind games.

In terms of the actual man, barely anyone actually KNOWS him but just the football manager. I know he's rival manager but he's a human being and a football manager, he hasn't killed anyone or commited serious crimes.

A person's life is more important than football for Godness sake, a minute of respect for a lost life and respect for a bloody good football manager who's bought a lot to this game and England national team in developing young talents.

Apart from criticising football clubs or playing mind games, that's about as bad as his crimes get. If that was the case for cheering someone death, anyone who supports a football team will have thousands cheering a death as us fans say the same things day in, day out.

I agree, and the reason, until now,i didn't let my curiosity get the better of me by opening this topic and reading the expected bile contained within it.

From my observations of him as a human being,i dislike him immensely,he is a horrid individual, however, his achievments and contributions to the game have been incredible and deserve accolade and respect.

For those reasons, when he passes,he will get such from me.

BBC and Sky will give it more coverage than Diana so best to switch off your TV's for a month.
In the tributes, people like Macari will still start talking about us
