When Is The Club Going To Stop Selling Tickets In The Home End To Away Fans?

I can't imagine there are many older City fans on here who have not sat amongst home fans when needs must. In the pre-all-seater stadium days', I always tried to stand at the halfway line in whatever paddock they might have had. Good experience at Watford, Oldham, Wolves and your friends in Salford. If you're lucky enough to stand with reasonable people, the banter added to the experience.
I would add that we made the mistake of doing it at Millwall in the mid '70s and kept very, very quiet.
Can honestly say we never experienced any unpleasantness with the exception of Bury and, from what I hear from my West Didsbury & Chorlton friends, that hasn't changed since their reemergence in the NWCFL.

I went to Klanfield in the 90's and sat in the home end and fully intended behaving myself but got in a couple of minutes late and as I sat down Carl Griffiths scored and instinct kicked in and I immediately bounced back up, much to the disappointment of the fine lads and lassies sat near me.

Managed to not get filled in but glad I had a hood up, as a few people around me seemed to have heavy colds and had to spit catarrh throughout the game in my direction. Could have just been them speaking of course!!!!

Didn't make the jumping up mistake again when sat in the Shithole and Goodison home ends but then again, City didn't make the mistake of scoring there either!!!

We need to make it very difficult for away fans to buy tickets in our ends. Them being in there as opposed to genuine Blues just isn’t on.
And how do you do that? They don't ring up the ticket office and say "Hello. I'm an Arsenal fan and I can't get a ticket in the away end so can I buy one in the home end please?".

I just think it’s plain disrespectful over anything else. I wouldn’t even do it in a home pub watching City somewhere.

The CL match against Celtic years back was horrendous. They were everywhere and acting like utter shithouses.

Don’t speak to me like that, please.

Stagger Citycard sales through loyalty points as it’s unlikely Arsenal fans would have 100 unless they’re very keen to go.

We’re talking blindly as we don’t know how they obtained them. A group of four or so together is quite strange.

I had a similar experience at Anfield also. I actually did behave myself. Got found out when I didn't jump up and cheer when they were awarded a penalty and scored it. Five minutes later I was escorted out by two stewards, who told me "it was for my own good". Had to walk around the ground and got booted out via the Shankly gates.

Surely purchase history, and for these big games having to have attended numerous fixtures, not just one or two? Although that wouldn’t stop people buying from third party sites?

Well Arsenal tickets went on sale and sold out in the restricted match day sale to those with purchase history ,can’t quite remember what the criteria was now.
