When / why did you become a City fan?

October 1994, 5-2 v Spurs on a roofless Kippax, 3 years old. Used to fall asleep when I was younger at the games, I'd say I started taking notice in Division 2 in 98/99 and fell in love against Gillingham in the 2-2. All my dad's fault, but how grateful I am.

1968. Entered the shrine (Maine Rd) for the 1st time, breathed in that exhiliating atmosphere and immediately felt part of a large extended family of fellow blues. Knew then that I'd found my spiritual home.

Went to school in deepest Essex - everyone supported West Ham/ other London clubs or United (cause they "was 'ard) Just to be defiant I started to support City because no-one else seemed to and as far as I know I became the only kid in the whole school to support the blues and give myself the next few decades of grief until that Aquero moment........

Lots of agony and heartbreak over the years, but we finally did it this year.

And we may have all have different opinions but we all love city.
