Where do you even start to criticise the team at the moment?

Not sure how you go about terminating players contracts just because the upper management perceives they no longer offer what we desire?
See W.Bridge, RSC, Danny Mills to name but a few, so good luck with that!

It doesn't take a genius either to predict the club will make (or attempt to make) one or more marquee signings in the Summer.

My only wish is that whoever is in charge come next season has enough nouse to realise that breaking the bank for "marquee" players and chucking them all in the melting pot together doesn't garuantee the formation of 11 men playing as a team and being any better than 11 men who do of moderate or better talents!

Better still, employ a manager who has some idea of how to alter his game plan (and team) accordingly depending on who we're up against as the present one looks to be clearly running out of ideas regarding tactics & team selection.

The quote "dead man walking" is a bit theatrical but non the less probably true!

Sorry cant you work it out, I didn't think you were thick, just a flapper

Lets see:

Whole team conspires to play like shit.

-or-

Liverpool are a better side with better players.

-or-

The tactics were shit, and player performances were a result of poor strategy.

The difference today was Rodgers vs. Mancini. Or do you pathetic dolts really think all our players just said "nah fuck it, lets just jog about a bit and look mindless". Mancini hasn't been able to cope with that style of football ever. Dear God, I'd hate to see the cricket score if we were put in a group with Barca next year. I was worried we'd be overrun like we were against a similar quality Ajax side, which is what today's performance looked like.

Or do some of you smart guys think getting the runaround in midfield and on the wings means you need to bring on an aging right fullback (replacing our playmaker), a slower left fullback (replacing a center back), and Nasri (for a holding midfielder) in the closing minutes after taking off Silva. Brilliant strategy. Its like he shuffled player cards and picked them out of a pile.

Good points, we need a Jonny Evans type

No we missed Kompany and Yaya Toure, two of our key players in a game that was dominated by nerves

We are 2nd in the table. Strange we don't see you come on here and credit Mancini's strategy after good wins

It's work ethic that is letting us down in my opinion.

I know we show lots if heart and desire, but why is always when we are behind and usually in the last 10 minutes? Why not do it throughout the whole game? Do the player think they are above everyone else and don't need to work hard because their ability will allow us to win?

I also hate the fact we are having too many individual stand-out performances, can we not have a fantastic team performance?

Zabaleta's desire in January was outstanding, if everyone else on the pitch matched that desire it would be scary to think how good we could have been. If everyone matched Sergio's 2nd half effort today we would of beat Liverpool.

We started the game with loads of aggression and desire. Linesman/ref/Dzeko let them back in it

All the people on here saying our current team is shite. What have you been watching over the years? This is the best City team I've ever seen. This is not Fifa 13 where you win every game 10 -0. We DREW a game with Liverpool & we are doomed according to some on here.
