Okay, fps/action games:
Far Cry, brilliant game! You really felt into it, hours of fun. Sequal did recreate that but it was just too big, had to drive around a jeep for like an hour to reach your destination then an hour back...
Call of Duty was a great game, but people forget that it was also a blatant ripoff of Medal of Honour. Especially Allied Assault.
Max Payne deserves a mention. Great game!
The Jedi Knight series.
MDK...what a game that was! First game ever to use a sniper rifle.
And I've mentioned Battlefield and Delta Force, and I could go on too.... :)
