Which of our Youngsters will make it with us?

Sad to say but none of them

There will always be a reason/excuse to never give any of them a decent run of games to show what they can do

It's the City/Pellegrini way now

Denayer and Lopes are both mega talented footballers who will both play in the champions league. If we don't give them a chance we're fools.

There is plenty more who will deserve a go though too.

And you know all this how?
The right players will come thru when/if their good enough...

Because Pellegrini has never given youngsters a chance at City and there's no reason to think he'll start now?

Have we got any youngsters likey to make it with us anytime soon? i know weve seen the likes of Lopes, Pozo, Boyata get a chance from the eds but none look good enough, Are we going to have somone come into the team from the eds and make a big Impact like Micah Richards , Michael Johnson, Stephen Ireland, will we see a 17/18 year old from our eds get a good run in our team and make it with us? Wouldnt it be fantastic to actually have our own homegrown Star instead of splashing ridiculous money on other youngsters

This is where I could have stopped reading. But I'll give it an effort to explain to you.

First of all it's a blind guess in the future. When I saw Zabaleta in his first 2 seasons I never ever expected him to be the top player he is now. Than again, in these years I thought Richards would turn out to be a top defender for us. Now we are talking experienced professional players at that particular moment, and you are asking about youngsters. What you actually ask is what youngsters are in a good moment of time, because none of them will make it and all of them could make it.

Youngsters develop in different ways. It's the staff that needs to try and make them a better player, but also they need to help one with his development in body and mind. That's what makes managing youngsters so challenging. Obviously there are some big talented youngsters in our academy and Vieira is right saying if he can't get a handfull in the first team, he has failed his job. Yet only a handfull will succeed, others will fail and some will not get their at City, but they could somewhere else. One or two might even end up at City by having a career somewhere else.

Now where you state Lopes and Pozo (I can understand you naming Boyata a bit better) are not good enough, I can only say it's way too soon to make that statement. In fact these two players are perhaps the closest thing to being regulars in the City-squad next season.

Because their not ready yet, Give them time a few will be given the chance when pellers deems them ready...

Reminds me of the first and last line of a song from Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs:-

Some day my prince will come

Some day when my dreams come true
