Which players are no longer good enough?

maybe, but then you want a homegrown player to develop by playing as many games as possible. That wont happen at City. Didnt happen for Hart, he was loaned to Birmingham before he became our number 1.

True. Maybe an 'older head' a la richard wright then, who won't take up a slot, but will be content not to play much?

I'm not suggesting anyone because I don't know who'd fit the bill!

Very depressing to see Zab getting so many mentions. But we need to not let sentiment cloud our judgement. And, unfortunately, time seems to be reeling Zab in. He's a shadow of the player he was in our last title season. The injuries he has suffered seem to have taken their toll, he no longer is the speedmerchant he used to be.

How are we even in this predicament with the money we have spent ...

Bad calls on all these players

I fully agree ^^^^^ this! We are a business and it's the equivalent of a global corporation taking on a few very very expensive execs and them all turning out to be apprentices in disguise. Poor excuses for footballers, especially the centre halves

Zabba was never a speed merchant. But he's been a brilliant servant for city. Got a huge heart.
