Who Is The Best Keeper Of All Time?

I haven't really got a clue. Never really watched old matches to focus on the keepers so can only talk about the best in my time. For me the best keeper I have seen at their peaks was Buffon followed by Cech. However, VDS played at a high level for such a long time. Cech's head injury brought his level down a couple of notches. I have not always watched Juventus, through out the 00's, but since he had the best peak and has longevity I would give it to him.

Cech is better than VDS ever was. He should be on the list.

Khan for me anyway, guy was a fucking beast. Notable mention for Chilavert, loved that guy when I was a kid.

Best 3 I've seen have been Schmeichel, Buffon and Casillas in that order.

I have to mention Coton, Seaman and Shilton. as the best 3 English I've seen in my time. Hart will be on both lists in 10 years time.

I agree, but don't think he is at his peak, but probably still the number one keeper in the world for me.

The best i've seen is Schmeichel.
There may have been better but never seen enough of them.
Without doubt Schmeichel was the difference some years for the vermin.

Going from Keepers within my generation, it would be................

Buffon
Schemichel
Cech
VDS

Another class keeper that hasn't been mentioned is Seamen.

He was well passed his best with us, and people struggle to look past his stupid pony tail, but for a decade he was up there with the very best, in my opinion.
