Paul Moulden for me..... scored goals galore despite Machin signing Bertie fucking Biggins and David Oldfield.

Although I've been a fan since the early 70's, I was really gutted about Nigel De Jong leaving. Think is was more to do with the fact that it seemed to happen all of a sudden (for me anyhow).

I take it you didn't go to bishops last game?

I went to every single game that Bishop played for City, including all those heavy defeats where he never got a kick or won a tackle.(4-0 at Arsenal and 6-0 at Derby being painful reminders)
I'm not disputing that he was a skilful player, and I'm obviously in a small minority, but at that moment in time, City desperately needed Mark Ward's consistent endeavour.
Bishop went to West Ham, who lest we get too misty eyed, were soon relegated.
