Who Needs shifting ?

depends on who the manager is and what system and tactics he wants to use.

however, for me i'd say-

1. Garcia - as much as I really want him to succeed it's blatantly clear he is nowhere near good enough. Far to slow and far to soft for the premier league.

2.Barry - historically been excellent for us imo, but this season has been one to far at this level plus he got totally embarassed in the CL. Is 32 and therefore will only get worse. Aston Villa would love him back.

3. Dzeko - imo has never ever been good enough. The Bundesliga would take him in a heartbeat and he'd get us a good fee.

4. Nasri - imo he isn't the player the world thought he was. Excellent at Arsenal but only showed fleeting glimpses here. Is good when things are going well but totally disappears when things aren't. Isn't a team player. Would command a decent fee and Arsenal would probably take him back in a heartbeat.

5. Tevez - a shadow of his former brilliant self. Has lost his ability to 'get away from' players and that was what he built his game on. Probably get next to nothing for him due to his age.

6. Kolarov - Never really understood what position he's actually supposed to play. Delivers excellent low crosses into danger areas but doesn't do much else. Woeful in the defensive phase. Utterly delusional about his 'deadball specialist' abilities. Be great in Serie A.

7. Maicon - Tasty going forward but for an international very poor in the defensive phase and has bobbins concentration. Getting on now to.

I'd keep the rest. In terms of Rodwell and Sinclair-

Both imo are good players with huge potential and they deserve a chance.

That frees up 7 spaces in the squad, gets us a decent lump of fees and trims the wage bill very nicely.

great post

Who goes depends on who comes in tbh. We can't be selling the likes of Nasri and Tevez and not replacing them with top quality players. Say we sell Tevez and Dzeko and end up missing out on Cavani, Falcao, Suarez etc. It's a difficult task.

Garcia is going nowhere. It is too early to judge him. Really does need more time like many of our foreign imports needed and we now reap the benefits from.

Would be pure stupidity to sell him after one season anyway in terms of transfer fees.

That lot would get us around 70million in fees ....... just need managers dumb enough to take them

Agree entirely.

We bought sinclair for that english homegrown requirement thing since Jonno left, so i reckon if we sell lescott and barry we'd have to replace them too, unless we plan to promote some players from the academy

hopefully:
Sinclair, lescott, Nasri, Panti, Dzeko, Tevez, Kolo.

Would provide good funds for our targets.

I believe it will all depends on who is manager next season.

Personally I thought Mancini would be that man, but these last 3 results have really cranked the pressure up on him.

If we finish out the top 3, I don't think there is a chance he will be here.

As for players, well Bridge, Kolo & Roque are out of contract so I expect those three to go.

Very possibly Barry & Lescott.

Most probably Dzeko & Kolarov

Other than that I don't expect many more, unless someone comes in with good money for the likes of Tevez.

One thing for sure I believe it will be a very busy summer.
