Who wants Liverpool to fail soooo badly....

Chelsea and Scum will be the top 2 this year with prob Arse in 3rd. We could well push them for 3rd but have the 'big 4 ref syndrome' to overcome as well.

A good win on Sunday for us and a bruising battle for Pool & Scum will do nicely and give us a buffer over them.

Baconface is apparently playing 1/2 a team tonight. This could be down to the plastic pitch, the travelling, he thinks they can afford to almost throw this one with the home pressure on the Officials or does he just think they can save their legs and really do Pool?

Hate them more than any team.

I want them to lose this weekend, and the bonus is it helps our top 4 quest (not much chance of us finishing above United this year anyway sadly).

Why where Lyon fans booing thier team at the end despite the team winning?????

We all know it must have been them as Liverpool have the best supporters in the world and never boo thier own. Even Stan Collymore on talkshite (no choice, was in car and driver had station on) said win lose or draw, Liverpool fans never ever boo thier own team before the game. /sarcasm off

The fans i feel have started turning against the fat waiter, last night took Benyoon (Spelling) off for Voranin which led to a chorus of boos also.

Theres a real chance that if they loose at the weekend then there place in the TOP 4 is up for grabs this season. Liverpool need to make the TOP 4 this season. Didn't the owners re morgage the club in the summer time. Take a £5 million hit by sacking him or take a £40 - 50 million hit by keeping him at the club.

The options are not that clear cut.

Benitez over the past 5 years did not build a strong 23 men squad. Depth lacking in this squad.
I wonder what manager would like to jump aboard mid season with nearly no transfer budget to patch up the squad. Hard find. Benitez should stay as Liverpool management cant afford getting another manager on board. Benitez leaving might also be seen as a sign of the owners wishing to sell some of their best players (they all praise Benitez)

Liverpool are at a turning point. They still stand a chance in Champions league. If they are lucky, they might get away with one draw among the three last games. Winning the last three still looks like the best way to qualify for knock out.
Lyon have 9, Fiorentina have 6, Liverpool 3 and Debrecen 0. Both Lyon and Fiorentina have to play their home game against Debrecen.

It is going to be an interesting season for Liverpool. As told, their new sponsor deal came with performance strings and if they qualify only for Europa cup, the financial loss will be massive as they are going to miss their share of TV fees. Platini's plan to help english clubs to manage their debts with less pressure might never come too early for Liverpool.

Qualifications for Champions league knockout round and fighting for a slot in top four require a squad quality depth Liverpool do not have.
If they lose against Manchester United, the financial doom and gloom scenario will put an excessive pressure on the players. The club could implode.

It is time for Liverpool supporters to grow a beard and seize a blanket because the winter looms blue cold.

Didn't the owners re morgage the club in the summer time. Take a £5 million hit by sacking him or take a £40 - 50 million hit by keeping him at the club. He fucked it up himself over the past year. Getting rid of Keane first bad mistake but the major mistake was pissing off Alonso so much that it drove him out of the club. For what Barry is worth to go out and look for Barry and put Alsonso up for sale was a huge mistake as Alsonso was 1 of there most creative players. How many more will want out in January if they are not competing for the league or at worst a champions league place. I think they will get rid sooner rather than latter.
I agree with everything you say, but it will be a lot more than £5 million. That's around what they pay him PER YEAR, so you'd need to times that by 4.

They are in an absolute mess and when people say they can't afford to sack him, they mean it in more than just a monetary sense. The dippers are desperately scratching around for investment, rather amusingly believing that some rich Saudi will just hand them millions of pounds whilst allowing the two Yankee jokers to continue running a club they've made a mess of.

They need this money NOW, not at the end of the season or in a couple of years, but NOW. But here's the Catch 22 - nobody in their right mind will invest in a financially unstable club the size of Liverpool if it looks like they're going to get knocked out of Europe and struggle to make it into the competition again next year, but neither will they invest in a precariously positioned club that has just sacked a Champions League-winning manager. So what do they do?

In my opinion, their only option is to get fully behind Benitez and desperately pray to Jesus, Allah and Buddha that he can turn it around. And then finally get rid of the fat Spanish waiter at the end of the season.

Don't hate Liverpool at all. I've got the utmost respect for them has a club.

When I was a kid they were winning everything. But there was none of the arrogance that lack of respect for other teams that typies the rags manager and fans. The managers in that era all had charisma and respect for other teams. The likes of Shankly and Paisley oused class unlike that other scottish pisspot that manages the rags.

i'm not arsed about Liverpool.

I'd rather us get there on our own merits than see one of the top 4 implode. that way there can be no excuses from them

Their blind faith in their manager is completely laughable, they seem to want to blame everything on their owners which to be fair are partly to blame, but Rafa is the one who bought Lucas, Riera, Babel, Signed Vornin on a free (WHY?), alienated Alonso to the point were he left, then there's Philip Degen, Dossena and he spunked £20 million on a replacement for Alonso who wouldnt be fit for 3 months and has a history long term injurys, not to mention the Whole Robbie Keane saga.

Yet he's still held held in high regard because he won the chumps league with a group of players 4 years ago which he then dismantled. Im struggling to even think about another set of supporters who constantly sing songs about their manager??
