Who will be our main rivals this season?

I still have us as clear favourites, especially if we sign Kane.
 
I don't expect Liverpool to finish top three, they have been on a downward trend for 16 months and have not improved the squad, players getting older.

I believe United will be our main challengers, they will turn some draws around and think we need Chelsea to also be strong.

The games against the top six will be crucial this year.
 
It’s us v Chelsea with the redshirts and Leicester fighting for the two remaining CL places.
We have been handed a horrible run of away fixtures to start but if we’re still within 6 to 8 points by New Year then I’d fancy us to pull away

It will be interesting to see how much Liverpool bounce back, and if Klopp's football is getting a bit stale after 6 years and the team passing it's peak.

The best predictor for future performance is xG. United got more “luck” last season than any team while Liverpool were the opposite and finished strongly.

Im going United 4th
 
Biggest threat is ourselves really. Complacency, lack of hunger. I still think we are missing a big ball breaker type character. Champs league final was a good example of where a really big personality might have been helpful

(yea, I’m being spoilt!)
 
If we don't get a forward I suspect we'll finish 3rd between Chelsea and the rags, could even drop to fourth behind the diapers. With Kane (Haaland ideally) I'd suspect we'll win the league again. We have a very tough start with our away games with KDB and Foden out and so many players late coming back. If we start poorly this season we might not be able to make up the distance on our rivals.
