Who'll Be Playing Alongside Yaya Next Season?

I think this could work decently.

Yeah I've always wondered what Nasri would look like playing a little deeper like that. I think something like that requires Silva to find some shooting boots though, and would be more effective with someone like Bale in place of Sergio. But this is the main reason I worry with Cavani, and how to best incorporate him with Aguero, and if that's even possible.

Get fernandinho in, stick him next to yaya. Barry and Rodwell to rotate as the season goes by.

If Rodwell keeps fit then I'd love to see a midfield three of fernandinho, J-ROD (we are calling him that, right?) and yaya. All three players with power and pace, a lot different to this years slow midfield.

Oh stop it with N###i please! the thought of him still being here will spoil my summer..............

Yeah and leave us with one creative player.
Tévez has created more chances than Nasri this season. Also, we'll probably sign another creative player even if Nasri stays. If he goes we'll probably sign two.

I think you're right on both counts. I'm not sure we can afford both. If we went for Bale instead perhaps something like this...

Edit: Well, we CAN afford both. I'm not sure we're budgeted for it is what I mean.

Strikers usually have a high number of assists, because they're often the player to make the final pass, whereas a great pass from midfield might be touched by two players before going in.

I'm surprised how many people want to cut our losses with Nasri.
