My point about this thread is simply that everyone is trying to analyse to deeply why we didn't win yesterday. (OH AND ALSO MENTIONING THE RAGS IN EVERY OTHER THREAD).

We drew with a team who got what they played for. We are top of the shop. Stop complaining and get supporting.

TBF I think that the penny is just dropping for a small number that winning this league will be no walkover and that the rags will battle us all the way for it.

I expected a battle but they have surprised me since we stuffed them 6 -1.
Still, it will taste all the sweeter if we win in in a season when the rags broke records of their own lol.

This battle is just brilliant. A dream come true. We are competing for the top prizes again at last. It's tense, nervy and exciting. Bring it on.

I'm not in the least bit down, we head into 2012 top of the league, I don't think we have ever led the league at the start of a new year in my lifetime, what is to be down about ?

We've dropped a 5pt lead, not exactly a reason to be cheerful but we will get back on track soon enough. We really need Spurs, Chelsea, and Arsenal to take something from them when the rags travel to their spiritual home London, and we need to beat the rags at our place. Crucial fixtures.

I'm not down at all , our football this season has been breathtaking , our start to the season has broken records , we have thrown down the gauntlet and challenged the old guard by setting our own standards , anybody who didn't expect any of the previous PL winners to respond to our challenge is deluded.

Yeah not exactly to a reason to be cheerful is it. I'd rather be in div 2 travelling to Wycombe and getting beaten again. Get over yourself man. I'd hate to see this board if we lost 2 on the spin!!!!! I am looking forward to the challenge of the rags! Roll on Sunderland and the bin dippers.

We have lost a 5 point league which is disappointing I know, but if the draw had been against Arsenal and we had beat West Brom would some people still be as down, I'll say no. It's done so let's look forward to Sunderland and get 3 points there.

Give over, we have different standards these days. I was a City fan when we were wank too but we can't apply the standards of that era to this era. We want to win the league now, not get promoted from Division 2 so any loss of points hinders our STATED TARGET (Mancini, Mansour) and thus doesn't feel good. It's like saying we shouldn't have been happy to see Jo sold because he wasn't as bad as Lee Badbuy.

Mostly I am pissed because of the Champions league exit, I mean if we exit in quarter finals I will congrat. to Mancini, but we lost from Italian Serie A number seven in first round ... than retirement club Chelski ... destroyed my confidence in Mancini, and I start to be nervous every time when ball is in our half.
