Completely missing the point, there are only 21 legends in the Hall of Fame and Quinn is in there. He was not a bad player who scored a few goals, couple in the derby when we went 2 up, went in net against Derby, played well for us and gave 100 per cent. However he openly admits that he learnt his trade at Arsenal, became a player at City but his real love was Sunderland. He upset a few Blues when he came out in support of Swales when the fans were trying to get him out. Swales had done untold damage at City in his latter years.
Niall is no doubt a nice geezer but there is no way he is in the top 20 City legends , off the top of my head before him there should have been Tommy Booth, Glyn Pardoe, Dave Connor and Tony Coleman they won us the Championship in 68. I could name plenty of others who should have been in the HOF before Quinny.
Today his commentary was bizarre in that he was bigging up Liverpool so much and seemed to be biased. This got picked up by a few Blues on the Matchday thread. However he's free to say what he wants. However it's bizarre that he is rated in the top 20 all time City greats when there are scores of players who should be in there before him.
