Are you sure Rafa was not on his way to Amsterdam and met with City at the airport hotel? Just worried that Pellegrini may be tempted elsewhere.

Fat Spanish waiter that has won the champions league? Some of you Mancini bummers are pathetic. He's an average manager who happened to get tons of money and managed to win a league against the worst Utd side in decades. Pellegrini and Benitez are far FAR superior managers to crapcini. Ever since his mess with tevez and balotelli I've wanted him out. Mancini didn't win us the league the players did. Steve kean could have won the league last year with this team.

People need reality check. Stability is important but with the right man. Mancini is proper out of his depth.

Also pellegrini beat Mancini in 06 in the CL with a tiny club Villarreal. He's a far better manager in Europe that's a fact. Then again redknapps is a better manager in Europe that Mancini.

Spanish-based journalist. It's Breen-Turner and he's regularly on Sky/TS. Says he was at the Malaga press conf on Sunday night. I could say i'm on the moon now, I know that but we can only go off what people say and there's no reason for him to lie. What he was trying to get across is what other than the financial mess they are in, MP loves his job and life at/in Malaga, (who wouldn't?!), and it would be hard for him to leave that job/life. They are apparently quotes from him himself though again, how true that is nobody knows. He left it by saying that he thinks he (MP) is hoping for a solution to the financial bollocks at Malaga so he can stay. That, to me, doesn't come across as a manager showing enthusiasm to come to City. As for Barca, well when they come knocking it's different and always will be.
