Why should people work?

Every day a topic comes up like this, there was one yesterday called benefit cheats and this morning it has vanished, seems to me that people get very irate about it and then topic gets 'lost'

there was an overwhelming amount of people sticking up for benefit cheats yesterday and calling people grasses, people seem happy to graft and their tax go to the dregs of society, usually in Ashton.

Sounds good with a million in your sky rocket, but to do it on welfare? Fuck that. I can't think of a more dull, meaningless existence than that.

Your comments almost question why we're here, another topic altogether, but one which I often think too. I mean who says we can't my a wigwam on some big grassy roundabout somewhere, stretch out in the morning with fuck all on and live off berries?!!! Who says what the 'norm' is? I hear you in that respect, but as far as living a dull life on benefits, basically unwilling to earn..... fuck that.

That family in the article are on over £38k.

Is it the stigma of being on benefits that would make you think your life was 'dull'? With £38k i could have a pretty nice life.

Not questioning why we're here, don't think i'll ever find that out... just the attitude that people who deviate from this 'norm' are looked down on and people who live the straight and narrow are proud for almost going into auto pilot and following the crowd. I know its more than that, but still... It the people who orchastrate the system can't run it properly, that's their fault... people will always take opportunities if they see one.

I just turned 14 in September and that child is a disgrace and a perfect example of the many negative stereotypes we teenagers seem to have tagged on us, as a generation.

Disgusting though, anyway.

Oh and on a side note, with names of other children in the article it says a hell of a lot about the parents of them. Mustn't have much of a hobby either, the pair of them.
I`ll lay you even money they have a staffy called tyson

the rich rob us through loans mortgages shit wages

the poor rob us because they can't get a loan a job or a mortgage

eat and kill the rich

our country is an F..in joke. These people breed generations of lazy scrounging individuals and the government just keep on rewarding them!

Why, whats the difference?
1 is a smart arse the other a parasite

Don't see how you justify it.

If i'm a middle class, blazer wearing, masters owning toff and i mug you and chop your bollocks off, would you forgive me quicker than if i was called 'Wez', wore all black Nike tracksuits, Lacoste trainers, had my hood up in summer to keep my skinhead warm and brandished a meat knife from my boxers when i went to do the deed?

What i'm saying is, its the same offence, how is it than one is deemed more acceptable to you?
