Like has been said on here numerous times before..

Do you really think the likes of Rodders, maicon, garcia and sinclair were bobs prefered targets ??

Oh please !!

Ok here's some honesty.

Rodwell, perma crock, could have told Bobby this in the summer.

Maicon, has been shot 2 years before coming to us.

Garcia, bang average and was made to look better because of Witsel. He's a competent palyer but not a top player, too slow and pedestrian.

Sinclair, brought in because of his nationality and position, a proper sub option, why we didn't keep Weiss instead and save the cash I do not know.

The above makes no odds Sam, we had to sell before we bought and if nobody was buying at rates we wanted then thinsg were always going to be tough. Mancini was shopping with a champaign taste on a shandy budget and unless we sold players on his list was never going to come off. His lack of foresight in the above should not be a reason for him to stay quite frankly, he wanted top end players when we had a budget and restriction to prevent it from happening. We have the largest wage bill in our league and unless we made room everything else was impossible. Mancini should've known this and worked with this. Why not bite the tongue for a season, get players in good form and start them and sell them this summer for example. We'd have gotten a better proce and he'd have helped himself in the process. He hasn;'t been failed by the board, he failed to understand and comprehend our limits last summer.

The reason he should stay is that even with these idiot players,we are probably going to come second and win the FA cup.. Thats a good reason to keep him.

He has said he knows where he went wrong and is going to fix it.. give him one more season to find out... if not fuck him off..

I think all the inners would echo my statement.

He's had the entire season to fix it, whatever 'it' is. Maybe in addition to not revealing what 'it' is, he also failed to mention that he has a two-year plan for addressing it?

The assumption that Bob has been handed a squad of players he didn't want is just fucking ludicrous.

80+ mins of one of the worst displays from a footballer I've ever witnessed (Dzeko) followed by Lescott up front with Garcia, Aguero and Sinclair on the bench suggests to me that no more money should be forthcoming i'm afraid.

erm... no ones arguing against that..would you really have risked sergios injury getting worse ??

we need a fit sergio for the run in to maintain 2nd place and the FA cup final..

If Bob had brought sergio on and hed made his injury worse then Id be calling for bob out too.

we'd lost it by then..tolmie knew wed lose and was right.

But it's HIS deadwood. Then his replacements this summer will be next summer's deadwood.

Also not sure that the 'when he gets it right, he gets it right' argument works. On a similar note, 'when he gets it wrong, he gets it wrong.'

Dzeko, Nasri, Kolarov all rumored to be off, and they were players Bobby insisted on. Unfortunately, he never figured out how to properly deploy them. Why did he want them so badly in the first place?

Do you really need to ask that question tbh ??

Yes, I do.

And all the "outers" would say that there are about 200 managers who could have had this team play this well this year, and that there might be 10-20 who could have had them playing much more effectively. And that those alternates might not have egos the size of small continents, and be able to get more out of our players, not insist on signing some very highly priced misfits, and lead us to greater glory.

Then why was Kun on the bench? Why not Guidetti, who has finished several 90 minute appearances recently for our B team? Or shift Nasri to 2nd striker?

Our future should be based on what's best for the club, offering people chances to come good should not be at the clubs expense! He was average at Inter in Europe and he's been poor here (granted he's had hard groups) and I think it's a habit he will find hard to break.

I said he knew how to fix in september yet here we are in April still none of the wiser!

We came second in this league (hopefully anyway, nothimng is final yet) because Chelsea wrecked their season and are bedding a new system in minus their old guard. Arsenal sold Song and RVP and didn't replace and Spurs have just 2 strikers. We are closer to coming out the top4 than we are to winning the league, that's going backwards Sam!

The FA Cup redeems a poor campaign imo. we've had the rub of the green in this competition and there's no denying that.

I'd judge Mancini on all 4 fronts. CC, FA, EPL and CL, we've been poor in 2, ok/good in one and finalled the other (have in mind Wigan are there and they are facing relegation!)

If Mancini reisgns or is sacked I don't think it's a bad thing. Some/many will be gutted but it's his own doing imo. If he stays and is given another season then fair enough but I think his future will be ended in September when we fail to get out of the group again. I have no faith in Mancini when it comes to Europe, none at all. As a league manager he's very good, in Europe he's awful to be blunt. Our future is to do well in Europe and I think it will be his undoing.

We are inter all over again. he's fell out with players he's drafted in like he did there, he's won a league like he did there and he left because he was below the standard required in Europe which is similar to here.

Riddle me this... If you don't want to risk injuring a player, why put him on the bench vs a player you can use?

"It" as you so eloquently put it is the dismal title challenge, the poor CL performance, the Carling cup exit.. Its what we all have to bear as City fans unfortunately, but most see the room for improvement and some dont and want rid of Bob...

Thats about it..

Amazing how history repeats itself (here and there)...

Why pick him for the bench then?

Why not go one up front with Tevez, haul the donkeys arse off the pitch and put Garcia on and flood the midfield when it was clear we were getting over run?

Why wait so long to haul the donkey off the pitch and then replace him with a CB when you have 3 players on the bench with far more attacking potential that Lescott?

The 2nd half was a fucking disaster for Bob and its not the first time either.

I will go as far as to say this....Bob likes to prove a point like a big fucking kid, pointing the finger screaming, "I told you so" and sometimes I honestly think he lets it go tits up so he can say just that.

How any manager could sit there yesterday watching that unfold and do fuck all to counter it is just baffling imo.
