Why The Hell Would Anyone Want Mancini Sacked ?

And the Daily Star (yes, I know) says Mourinho has no chance of getting the City job if Mancini goes due to Txiki and Soriano not liking him and the baggage he brings. They will want a squeaky clean image and youth development -> Pep or Klopp (if Mancini is replaced)

he was sacked from inter for champions league failure.

I might be wrong but I'm sure he was sacked for announcing he was quitting and then going back on his word.

Nail on head Kev.

Sorry but didn't Mancini quit etc because he got wind of the fact that Inter were looking to replace him because he failed to progress in the UCL? In other words, wasn't the undelying reason for his departure exactly as DD suggests?

At city I've watched us play maybe 18 or 20 European games under Mancini and I'm struggling to remember a good performance. Tough groups or not, we've been repeatedly out thought and outplayed, many times by teams assembled at a fraction of the cost of ours.

You can't spin it any other way than hugely disappointing. And there has been no evidence whatsoever of improvement or lessons learned.

Poo
Don't disagree at all; it is hugely disappointing but is it really the time to sack the Mancini just because Moo has fluttered his eye lashes once again? If we had done that last time Moo blew us a kiss, we'd have been left with a full English on our face wouldn't we?

Moo is a winner - we get that. However we seem to take it as a given that he will win us the Champions League. He might do better - get us to quarters/semis even a final but there is absolutely no guarantee. He failed to do so with Chelsea in spite of having a really good team and has failed to do so, so far, with Madrid.

The Guardian says tonight his job is not under any immediate threat at all and there is a degree of understanding from Khaldoon. But does say there is added pressure to win the league now.
Exactly how it should be given the current circumstances.

we are going round in circles. I don't think he should be sacked now, I think he should be given to the end of the season. The candidate pool will be so much better then, and regardless, he's earned the chance to retain his title.

I haven't seem the guardian story but I assume it's Daniel Taylor and I assume he's got that from Marwood. I wouldn't expect him to say anything else, although if there's a veiled threat in there it could be significant.

I think everyone with perspective agrees that failure to win the league will see Mancini out of a job. He's under huge pressure and that could really ramp up over the next couple of weeks.

Alternatively he could turn it around like he did in the wembley derby 2011 and after highbury 2012. A lot will depend now on the players too. At the risk of opening up a new can of worms, There could be a chance they smell his blood.
At the risk?! Perish the thought.

Playing to the gallery again.

My first ever reply to him and I've already blown him out of the water.

Blown out the water, eh? Go and find out when and why mourinho was approached and agreed to take the inter job. And have a little think as to why league winner Mancini resigned, took it back and then was sacked. Ask about the player revolt, took

You haven't a clue mate.

Everyone knows why he was really sacked.

Does he have any credibility as a poster left because i sure as shit gave up reading his boring monotonous mantra type posts regarding Mancini a long time ago.

I don't think anyone gives two shits (or even one) about what he thinks / posts

PMSL. Who the fucking hell are you?

I've got a little nipping squad of young nobodies on my tail tonight. ;-)

Yep; end of the season and review the situation again, like we do every year.
