Can't be arsed reading the thread, stupid ?

Win on Sunday and it will disappear as fast a snow flake in the Sahara
and lose on sunday and it will reach a crescendo. He's on very thin ice and it would take a brave man to bet on him being at city next season if he doesn't win this game. You and your type can bury your heads in the sand as much as you like but everyone in football beyond a few thousand shirted up poznanners know the reality of the situation. The truth is you all got a huge wake up call with the Monaco story, so bearing in mind he feared for his job if he didn't win the title then, it doesn't take a huge IQ to work out that his job's under threat without the title this season after that abortion of a European campaign.

We might win it. I pray that we do. But unless we improve fast, starting on Sunday, we won't. So your continued sniping inferring that talk of mancini's future is done by a few know-nowt agitators looks pretty shaky given the real facts. I don't expect a response beyond some half-baked cliche and a quick dash to the hills like you usually do. You've been as bad as the idiotic teenagers when you've dared to put your head above the parapet on this thread so far.

Have a little think in your head about what's really happening here, or you might just get the shock of your life come summer. The pressure on Mancini to retain the title is huge now and talk of his future, which is already conducted by all city fans with a modicum of intelligence and perspective, will continue.
An article straight from The Sun.

See, you come across to all and sundry on here that you actually don't. Like you would be happier to say "I told you so" than celebrate a derby win on Sunday night.

I'm not having a pop here, this is just the impression I and others get. We all get it that you don't rate the bloke but it sometimes feels like a broken record.

Why don't you sit back and enjoy the ride instead of constantly going into battle on here?

Really don't think that he'd struggle for a top job if we were impatient enough to dispense with his services.

If Mancini Guardiola and Mourinho were all out of work at the same time who do you think would be the most & least in-demand?

Mate, I take your point, but even if I thought it was a good idea to take Pep or Jose, I'd be deluded. Peps of to Chelsea or Milan and Jose is Fergie's successor. We're not high enough up the food chain to attract any of them.

Mmm, I can see you being correct on Mourinho

What do you base your opinion that he's on thin ice on? He signed a new contract a few months ago.

What do you mean me and my type?

Am I not a City fan just like yourself? Or does my unwillingness to not get involved in hysteria about the manager make me some head in the clouds Polly Anna? , I have never done it, not when Hughes was here, Sven or any of our many managers over the years.

The owners of the club will decide what they want to change the manager, getting yourself worked up into a lather and painting yourself into a corner over something you have no control over is madness.

That's not to say that I don't support peoples right to have an opinion and to voice that opinion, of course you can it would not be a very good forum if we did not, but the sneering at and insulting of fellow City fans who take a different position, makes me feel uncomfortable

I support the same team as you do, and I share many of the frustrations about what happened in Europe as most on here, we all want the same thing (I hope) but we differ in the degree of obsession that some people have devoted to the matter, it seems nothing else really matters

The problem is Dave until folk like yourself get off the Merry-go-round we're going nowhere. To many have got themselves into a habit of wanting a new manager every other year and where the fook has that got us? This time it's what the champions league, whats next after jan?

Merry-go-rounds are for children, isn't it time you took that brave step and actually supported the team differently by getting behind Mancini?!?! What harm can that do?

Maybe there are fans who actually believe in getting behind a manager who has won us 3 trophies in 3 years is the right thing to do. Especially when things are not going as smoothly as we all hope for.

Unless I see this team lose 5, 6 or 7 games in a row then I will stay firmly behind Mancini.

Oh! how can you improve on an unbeaten run of 21 league games?

I don't know if you really expect an answer to that last question, but here's one:
Turns draws into wins.
Anyway it's disingenuous not to include all the other competitive games we've played like the Champs lge & CC

I love how many class the Com Shield as a trophy yet we ripped the rags for it last year. It's silverware I agree but most see it as 'meh'.

Mancini has done a great job from taking on Leslies imbalanced group of players to form what we are now but there's still lots of work to do. No forward pairings really blossoming yet and still the same weaknesses ad last season. He was let down by not getting the players he wanted in the summer but to be fair wr had a good enough squad then to play better than we are now. Players not playing to full potential and we are way too slow moving as a unit imo.

If Mancini delivers silverware he should be backed properly in the summer. If he doesn't then he's gone imo but only if the replacement is sorted prior. If Pep takes another job we will stay put as far as I'm concerned. If Pep wants to come I thinks its his job to take and I honestly believe Mancini knows this full well and has done since the start of season.

One thing we must all do is draw a line under the charade that has been European football as our performances have been shit to be frank. We must go full pelt at the league and FA cup and everybody in the same direction. Us losing the derby will be huge though, not for me ad there's a while to go yet but the Media are just waiting, and hoping imo. Better make sure we win then...

-- Thu Dec 06, 2012 9:24 pm --

Spot on. Unbeaten means fuck all if you don't finish first. 6 draws equal 6 points but also 12 points dropped. Better to win 4 and lose 2 as we double the points tally. Common fucking sense.
