Why The Hell Would Anyone Want Mancini Sacked ?

We'll soon have confirmation that Mancini will (hopefully) get another crack at it.

By common consent we need to be quick out of the blocks to secure our targets and the negotiations are unlikely to be kept totally secret in this day and age.

The youngsters signed recently such as Nasty, Panti and Savic went under the Radar but we'll be fishing in a different pool now.

I really think the debates about his future will be resolved for now within a month maximum.

Nothing to publicly resolve as just like last season, a review and canvassing of other managers does not have to be justified to anybody outside the club.

The only sign we could expect as a confirmation Mancini is going nowhere is him at the helm when that first signing is announced.

Cavani would be a very nice start...

If we are trying to get him then I agree with you about Mancini. I hope he does well for us if he comes but I am just worried that he could be the next Dzeko, hopefully not though.

Bringing players to a new league always has an element of risk but Cavani looks tailor made for us, whether we keep our current formation or move to 4-3-3, and the Premier League.

The only issue I have is the likely transfer fee, if we are worried about FFP.

Currently we are on track to comply with FFP. Then, taking into account the additional 50-60 mn ( i think ) coming in from the new tv deals, we can afford to spend a bit this summer.

Add in wages and players off the books and we can no doubt afford a luxury shop or 3.

Platini and the sausage maker will of course be apoplectic but fuck them ;-)

Sorry mate, but Cavani is a top, top striker. I've got everything crossed that we bring him here, because he'll score bagfuls of goals for us. We're creating plenty of chances and we need someone who'll stick the ball in the net on a regular basis. This guy will do it, and it suggests to me that Mancini will be here next season.
I'm not denying he is a good striker. Am I the only one who can see the similarities between him now and Dzeko at Wolfsburg?

Also I would class myself as an "outer" however I think Mancini will get one more year.

What happens hypothetically this year if we do get all of his targets (Cavani etc.) and still do poor in the champions league?

Like any Manager he'll live or die by his decisions, if it's the wrong one and we fail again, he'll be gone

And so he should be.. im an inner but Im also aware that he needs to get it right, especially in Europe..

Next season is crunch time for Bob.

Expect it to be over £100m, although we will get back at around £60m, including the Mario sale

Big Money, as Max Bygraves would say.

I think this summer is going to be very interesting.

I think if we get 2 or 3 top top players in early then this bodes very well for Bob.

Cavani would be a fantastic addition to start with.

If we fail to get out of the group again next season in Europe i think even the staunch "inners" will agree with you aswell as the owners

The League should be the target at the moment, partly because the Premiership clubs have fallen way behind Dortmund and Bayern. And Barca and Real Madrid are still ahead too. We need some luck in the draw - get the same group and I'd expect 3rd.

The only line between the inners and the outers is that Bob should get 1 more season.. no more no less.

I'd say the chances of Mancini playing 433 are the same as me growing an arm out of my arse.
