Why The Hell Would Anyone Want Mancini Sacked ?

Di Marzio (reliable) says Ranieri confirmed to stay at Monaco next season so that potential route for Mancini is closed.

I think it looks like Mancini will stay next season, however even if we won the league next season but dropped out of the CL group stage I think that would be the end for him. European consistency/success/presence is paramount to brand building in football.

Wasn't Roma looking like a feasible option for Bob if we parted company. Have you heard/read anything with regards them?
Think I read somewhere that Roma wanted the Napoli coach, Mazzarri, to take over there. Either him or Allegri.

I understand that the Champs League is important, but our number one priority is winning the tite back, and if he does that against two of the best managers that have ever lived it's inconceivable that we'd sack him imo.

Mancini applauded the fans again after we sung his name.Never heard Hughes name sung by the City fans.

All this talk about formations is ridiculous.
Most of the better teams in Europe play in multiple configurations depending on circumstances and have have players who interchange positions. 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-3-2-1, 4-4-2 even 3-5-2 all have there place depending on circumstances - It's all about finding opposition weakness and exploiting it..

The CL is an added investment at the moment but not crucial to our sustainability. The PL is where it's at with anything other a real bonus.

That's not to say that the quadruple wouldn't be accepted.

What a ridiculous statement.

Of course it's crucial, it's what gives us the additional revenue to make top drawer signings whilst complying with FFP.

We are established and proven in the PL. That job has been accomplished and the box well and truly ticked.

CL is the be all and end all for any club with the visions and dreams we have for the future and its crucial that we make our mark immediately because with every year that goes by not doing so, it will just get harder and we wont be taken with the same seriousness that we have now in the PL.

Bob will know its importance should he get the gig again next year and he will know what will happen if he doesn't at least make it to the knock out phase.
