Why The Hell Would Anyone Want Mancini Sacked ?

What was significant was that defenders stopped closing down their opponents on the edge of the area.

If the world stopped spinning you'd blame it on mancini for not turning his tin cans the right way round in his cupboard

That might be your most unreasoned comment to date.

This is basically what you've said:

"No, the formation that has directly led to defeats or giving up leads against Madrid, Dormund, Ajax (twice), Everton, etc. isn't Mancini's fault. It was the players not defending well right after switching to that formation! Nevermind, often having one real CB and two FBs in the back three, its the players' fault for not suddenly learning how to play in a foreign position and formation! Its their fault, not the Manager's, who sent them out onto the pitch, instructed them to change to a formation that has been comically shambolic all season long, and generally dismantled the title-winning defense of last season."

If Mancini shot each player in the kneecaps before sending them onto the pitch, you'd blame it on the players for not defending well enough, and question their work ethic because they didn't avoid getting shot in the fucking knee.

By and large the 352 didn't work in most games we've played and the manager has to take responsibility for it.However the players would have practiced in training and some of the goals conceded, especially against Ajax rank bad marking at set pieces, and Real Madrids winner which Komps ducked under can't be wholly blamed on formation tinkering.

I am certain mancini is going. Pelligrini will be our next manager.

Out of all the 352s Mancini has played this year the two times against Madrid were the stupidest. The main flaw in the system is that when your wing backs have bombed on there is temporarily a huge gap for an opposition with quick and skilful wide men to exploit, as you only have one wide player on each side.

To play it against a team with the worlds best winger was football suicide.

Di Marzio (reliable) says Ranieri confirmed to stay at Monaco next season so that potential route for Mancini is closed.

I think it looks like Mancini will stay next season, however even if we won the league next season but dropped out of the CL group stage I think that would be the end for him. European consistency/success/presence is paramount to brand building in football.

Wasn't Roma looking like a feasible option for Bob if we parted company. Have you heard/read anything with regards them?

They are linked more with Mazzarri (Napoli) and Pellegrini (Malaga) at the moment than Mancini.
