Hopefully the "Gods of Luck" will catch up with Liverpool at some point, and they'll lose a couple of games that they didn't deserve to / despite playing well.
Because so far that hasn't happened - can't think of a single game where Liverpool have taken fewer points than their play deserved?

The purpose of the thread when I wrote that first post was not in one bit arrogance or entitlement ... it was purely to highlight the clear signs showing as to how they can't handle being favorites, have now had three chances to pull away and put clear daylight between them and anyone else and all three times they have failed ... and it was more to highlight the smaller bits and bobs showing the pressure they're feeling ...
Last season we won it from a position of strength ... this season we have been, let's be frank, almost fucked it up a few times already ... the two back to back losses in December, then Newcastle ... have given them every opportunity to capitalize on it but they haven't taken it ... now if we win it from here, it will be in equal parts our resilience to have stayed in touch, and now putting together a run in the final stretch ... but also equally it will be because they are royally fucking it up ... bottle job, whichever way you put it from where they are now!

The way I see it is it’s 50-50 at the moment. They have the “game in hand lead”, we have the better team. It is possible that both teams will win the remainder of their league games (because they are better than the corresponding opponents) and so the nightmare of a red dipper league title comes to fruition. It is also very possible that squeaky scouse bums will lead to heavily soiled undercrackers and the mighty blues will have another season to fondly remember (I am sure the images of us parading silverware will be closely matched with the Liverpool fallout in terms of enjoyment!)
The key is their next league game, if they win it remains 50-50, if they draw the odds are in our favour, if they lose...the rest of the season is going to good fun!

I hope you are wrong about the Utd vs Liverpool, but if you are right this title is going down to last 10 minutes of the last game.It was Liverpool’s to lose 6 weeks ago. Utd beating Liverpool isn't looking likely on their result v PSG - but then Liverpool aren't PSG - Liverpool are beatable.
