Why we will win the league!

Just don’t see City winning the league, should never lose to Palace and Newcastle when going 1-0 up especially with the squad we have
Sometimes you get shock results but in reality we shouldn’t be losing to them and that includes Leicester as well,it’s slightly worrying for me that we can’t recover in games if we get pegged back and then fall behind, bar the odd game, our whole set up is nearly based on getting a quick goal and then the safety net of a second goal...

The Dipper fans are getting very nervous and I think the pressure will ramp up as long as we get our act together and improve our league form and put a winning run together.

Was listening to the Leicester game on the radio and their fans as usual were appealing for everything, just wait until March there will be a lot of soiled underwear in Merseyside.

Why March?... There's a lot of soiled underwear all year round... the scruffy tramps just can't be arsed changing them

And So does Jet Li
Bruce Lee would batter Jet Li.

We lost to Cardiff, Villa and Sunderland in 2014 and the Scousers won 14 in a row ...
I don’t think we can use that to offer any form of comfort. That year, 84 points was enough to win the league, allowing the odd shock result. We’ll need virtually 98 to win this one, there isn’t the margin for error to get away with as many shit performances as we’ve had.

Can't believe the Spuds go above us when they beat that shit Newcastle side we should have destroyed last week.

Considering how much better we are than these teams and how we played last season we've let ourselves down this season so far.

West ham have done well at home.... especially against the top teams....so if they drop further points...of course we have to win against Arsenal....then who knows

Got a funny feeling the gap will be down to 2 after Monday. That will give the players proper focus going into the Chelsea game knowing we could go top, after beating Everton mid week of course. Then hopefully a rejuvenated United will put them in their place. Most of them would rather see us win the league, so it will give the game an extra edge.

We'd go top after beating Everton.

We could be third if Spurs beat Newcastle tonight, but the messier it gets and Liverpool feel heat from them and us the more I feel we have a better chance.

Doesn't change what we have to do. We're still chasing Liverpool, Spurs are just in the way.

Last year just raised the bar..... our trajectory is above 90pts, which would of won the league on each of our previous prem titles...

To have 3 teams amassing this amount of points, at this stage, is quite remarkable

I think the only thing that is letting us down is people’s expectations....

Someone put stats on here a while back of points needed to win the league in Spain and Germany before and after pep. Basically said exactly this - he raised the number of points needed to win the league, even after he left.
