Wilfried Bony 2015/2016 Performances

I haven't been defending his performances.

I was just calling you out for your bullshit stats.

Haha try a little better than that my stats are available all over the web. Now please stop spouting the bollocks or are you going to lie about his mothers apparent death again even though she is perfectly healthy

On a day in which our best players looked crap, it interesting that it is the role players who's threads are buzzing with activity.

It's Bony, Navas And Pelegrini :) That's some serious group think.

I keep telling folks when your team doesn't win look to the stars, not the role players.

Aguero? Silva? Yaya?_DeBryune? Kompany? Hart? Which one of these folks failed to perform? Once you get the answer to that question, buzz their thread up and discuss the intricacies of their poor performance.

That's how you ask the right questions. Focusing on the Bony's and Navas's simply is burying ones head in the sand.
As you rightly point out, it's unfair to blame one player when a whole slew of world class players have underperformed. What then is the common denominator? A clueless manager.

Looks like pellegrini has realized it in post match about being static ...“We tried to be aggressive with and without the ball. Of course we should create more in the last third. We were static up front.”

Judge him next season when Pep tries to play in his skills in a B team when required. Or when needing a plan B or C. The man is being told to play the Aguero role but isn't that sort of striker. He can't do anything feeding off scraps.

The best plan for Bony is plan e. Preferably one out of Manchester.

Feeding off scraps, scraps have to be found, hunted down. He gets fed 5 star cuisine and can't be arsed to even go to the table, tray on the sofa guy is his fare.

No, we have 2 WC players who underperformed. Not a whole slew. Kompany was fantastic, Hart was capable. It was just Silva and Aguero who were terrible. But somehow neither one has a thread on page 1. Which tells you are fans are mostly "purposely clueless."

They'd rather whine on the thread of a player they never liked, than Man-up and call out those who truly were shaite today.

And even the few who do, often generalize like you just did above there. Which really hides the truth in plain sight. Oh every one was bad. Not true. Komps Hart. Dihno, and Nando were very good. Sagna was OK, so was Clichy. Aguero, and Silva were the worst performers followed by Ota and Navas.

Bony didn't do much wrong today. Kept possession, showed for the ball but never received it. Got 1 weak cross in the box all game. He wasn't great, and lacked energy, but this was neither here nor there. He had a nondescript day. Generally such a day would be an average day if others played well.

Even if he is unsure what his role is surely a premiership striker, or any striker over the age of 7 for that matter, needs telling that when his team are on the counter attack he should be busting a gut to get into the penalty area. The bloke is not only useless he is lazy and useless which is unforgivable. Take your gardening leave now Pelle and take this waste of space with you.
