i agree with the above, yet I don't want him. Coz at best, that means we are getting rid of Dzeko and keeping Jovetic
Bad move, Dzeko is the keeper and not Jovetic. Bony also will not get as much space here as he does at Swansea. Teams play us slightly differently. He is also not the most hardworking striker. City fans will hate that. Great composure in front of goal, a handful on corners kicks and a great header of the ball. Like the player, don't like the move.

We need to keep Dzeko and get rid of Jovetic

They are both out the door in the summer.

i rather think this is the truth.

Dzeko has scored some excellent goals for us but he lacks the physicality and the quick feet of Bony. This lad will dominate defences with his strength and score shed fulls in our team.

The comment about him not working hard is not right, in fact he is one of Swanseas best defenders from set pieces in defending there box, if u watch there games he's totally isolated up front and he holds up the ball better than any other striker in the prem, this guy is a massive upgrade on Dzeko

I hope we land Bony, imagine what he could do with the supply line we have ( no disrespect to Swansea)
As for Dzêko, and Jovetic, we still need 4 strikers, hopefully signing Bony will give them competition enough to kick on and raise their game, we've been woefully under strength in the striker dept. since Negredo left.

Really good signing. Needed a powerful striker since Negredo left.

For those crying about cost, he'll cost a bit more than what we get from Negredo's sale. Might be on a bit more wages but is 3 years younger.

If he is being brought in as Dzeko's long term replacement (that my opinion), its a win win. 3 years younger, reportedly will be on 100k v 150k, doesnt whine or hide, doesnt get bullied and is happy to bully, and once both wages and transfer fees are taken into account, would probably be close to even

The Guardian is reporting £25 million + add ons (whatever they may be), are we not getting £25 million for Negredo?
Why do you think he'll be on more wages?

Not worth anything like £30m in a realistic market but City need a striker and they're paying for historically inflating the market for less than world class players.
