On the worlds fastest train ... in 45 minutes. ;) Seriuosly I would be surprised if he came back to Manchester for his medical and would think we have someone out there who would be available to carry out the full medical.
You would think so, does anyone know if players can have their medicals another part of the world? Or do they have to travel to the country they play? Not being harsh but medicals in the middle east sound dodgy ;)
This says he's due to fly out to the Middle East on Wednesday.
Manchester City are in talks with Swansea City over a £30m move for striker Wilfried Bony, according to Sky sources.
A deal for the Ivory Coast striker is yet to be agreed but reports suggest the two sides are not far apart on their valuation of the 26-year-old.
Bony is due to travel to the Middle East on Wednesday for a training camp with his country ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
He was linked with a summer move to Liverpool and Tottenham, among other sides, but stayed at the Liberty Stadium and has scored nine Premier League goals to add to the 16 he managed last season.
Bony signed a new contract in November, which removed the £19m release clause in his initial deal, and City and Chelsea both had him watched in Swansea's recent clash with Liverpool.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini recently played down his interest in Bony because of the club's transfer restrictions under UEFA's financial fair play protocols and the limit on non home-grown players.
