It is what they did, and our guys in the Armani suits with their flow charts failed to predict it, that possibility passed them by.

In the end It does not matter who's fault it was. The outcome is we were fined under FFP, the only Premier League Club to be so fined and we not only suffered the financial consequences of it and the depleted CL squad, but it gave ammunition to our enemies to use it against us, however eroneously, in perpetuity as and when they choose, it is a monstrous bollock.

Credit to DW for thinking of a new approach for transfer predictions. If you say that none of the players we are linked with will sign you will have a hit rate of 95%+ better than any ITK in history.

On Jovetic the jury is still out as he has been iinjured most of the time and hasn't exactly scored matchwinning goals that led to any silverware. Yet.

Maybe add some realism to your opinion about the players we have compared to the one(s) that MIGHT come in.The grass is not always greener ...

I agree. People are so keen to bring down one of our own. Dzeko may be hated here but he played a big role in both our title victories. Not to mention when he first came he started slowly and there were already dissenters. However, in the end he outlasted tevez, Balo and even fan favourite negredo. I would not be too quick to discount Dzeko.

Jovetic had a rough year of so with injuries but he provided spark on occasions and with better form and more consistent playing time plus of course more stable health, I like to believe he can recapture the spark that made him one of the brightest young players in serie A


As for Bony, hold your horses till he actually comes back from Africa to play for us and plays well.

When people band around insults like "moronic", "brain power" and "rag" and get away with it, when it is condoned, then this place stops being a forum where City fans can debate, where they can have a difference of opinion and that opinion respected and becomes instead an echo chamber for the loudest voices.

Your voice is pretty loud still, despite it being pointed out politely that the penalty for FFP breach was the result of rule changes.
 
Injuries had reduced our squad to a skeleton crew, especially up front, so Bony is definitely a good signing.
