6 months after we get the all clear, people will forget it existed and go back to being exactly the same they were before.
The toilet roll hoarders will be the first to be slating immigrants for coming over saying they should stay in their was torn towns at risk of persecution - forgetting that at the 1st hint of any danger to themselves they thought about themselves and themselves only.

It is too hard to tell, but there is potential for disasterous consequences and a world that looks profoundly different than it did before. There isn't enough info to go by to really make good predictions. There is a fair chance for significant problems down the lines, things like large migration waves or conflicts popping up in various places in the world as in just more fires to extingiush and challenges to meet. I fear for Africa, South America and even America itself under Trump, then again i wouldn't be surprised if it could also turn out to be less severe especially if the virus subsides due to weather for example which is hard to predict.
We will need to be vigilant aswell about our civil liberty's which need to be infringed upon now. While measures are nessecarily crisisses often also introduce temporary measures that sometimes turn out to be permanent, a recent example say 9/11. It's not just the effect of the virus itself that needs to be feared, the political consequences could be quite significant aswell.

We need to really start worrying when the superpowers start blaming each other. There has been a bit of this already.
I think the economic impact will be huge but if the government strategies to help financially actually work, then I can see a massive spending boom once it’s over. People will go spending crazy.
At the moment and for the foreseeable future, the only things people need are shelter, water, food and energy. All the rest is irrelevant:
Take mortgages, loans, credit cards and rent out of the equation because I know some people have more debt than others and I reckon everyone could live on £150- £200 quid a week if needs be without eating rice all day.
The government should make the money initiates easier though. Anything you have to apply for is not going to be straightforward.

A friend of mine visits a lady who works from home for £100 an hour. If some of her duties are restricted by wearing a face mask, do you think my mate should be asking her for a discount?You DO realise that working from home is only an option for a tiny percentage of the workforce, don't you?
the world gone mad ? and all in the space of 2 weeks. its crazy to think that so many people are really showing there true colours and only looking out for themselves at any cost
this will be a testing time and the damage could be un-reversible and life will be never the same and lesson will have to be learnt for the future. because this will be the first time in post modern living that people will have to start to think about how things can change when something threatens your life and makes you isolated and alone
for me its not about the people like me in the 50s or older ? its about the younger kids youths teenagers and life in the future ? getting over this virus scare is so so scary for them. i have had my time really and i see life after 50 as is a bonus every year that passes. all we can offer them is hope we the older generation can leave something for them other than hope. its showing them how to be human to each other and show some community spirit and the british spirit in fighting this war
its a war alright and the worst kind of war ? a virus. a dirty war. a invisible war, a war without a cure. and if we don't start to listen and take action the virus will win
so listen up people understand what they are saying please ? if there is one thing we can do right now for the future is listen and self isolate and take care. and if there is anything you can do for somebody else like your neighbours ? please help them with care and safety ? if somebody needs water or bread or food and you have some spear leave it on there door step and help
