You mean season. It's impossible to win it this YEAR.

Hope so. But realistically, they have had a phenomenal sequence of results stretching right back to the later days of last season and if they keep it up, they will win the title.

You do know we play them next week, right. So it's even more about what we do in the near future as well
as long term.

And you guys have a big advantage next Saturday
We return Thursday morning needing a result from the Napoli game
You have already qualified so can rest players
The Etihad marks our 3rd tough game in 6 days
You should beat us in a canter

Don't think it will be in a canter and neither do you.
Reverse psychology won't work on here, as we are not the ones playing the game.

winning it would mean arsenal losing games which at the moment they aren't. Out of our hands.
For me not winning it woulld be a disappointment, not making the top 3 would be a disaster.
Europe much more important for me, not a popular view on BM but it is mine.
Our forwards have masked the deficiencies in defence by piling on the goals, when they waste chances like yesterday we are in trouble.
At this stage of the season we are where we deserve to be, hoping for teams above us to slip up.
Not the sign of a potential champion side.

I think our away form will improve but its never going to be brilliant with this group of defenders playing this system. We're very unlikely to go on a long unbeaten run, will drop points at places like Everton.

I think we'll end up with in the region of 75-79 points. Whether that's enough I don't know. I expect Arsenal to spend in January and they're playing with great confidence so don't really expect their bubble to burst too quickly.

We won't win the league this season, not a chance. The fact that we're ten points off our tally at this stage in our title winning season is no coincidence. This side has gone backwards since then, no doubt about it. The reinforcements just aren't there in my opinion.
We had people like De Jong, Barry and Pizarro to slot in beside Yaya in midfield but this season, after Ferna, there's no depth in any way in that department.

I keep getting carried away with our home form only to be let down away from home against teams we should be beating with no excuses. The fact that we're happy with a point at Southampton given that it means we'll more than likely be 8 points off the pace by tonight is just baffling to me.
Title-winning teams win matches like the one we saw yesterday and nothing from this side away from home (where title's are ground out) suggests we're up for the extremely uphill task that this is going to be from here on in.

It's one of the closest seasons ever I have not got a clue who will win it it could any one of the current top 4 even United have got a small chance because margins are that tight a couple of losses can send any team right down the table

Not unless we start picking up more points on the road. With games away at Arsenal,Everton,Spurs,Liverpool to come in the new year I am just not sure.

If we sort out our away form i believe we will win the league but that's a big 'if' at this moment in time.

Away games still to come

Tough

Arsenal
Everton
Rags
Liverpool
Spurs
Swansea

Easier

Newcastle
Norwich
Palace
Fulham
Hull

It isn't going to be easy to get the wins we are going to need. Maybe playing the better teams may help our style.

Our home form will have to be as good as 11/12 with only 2 points dropped.

If we get 10/12 out of the next 4 I would say we can. Anything less will be tough especially if Arsenal have a good next 4.

I don't think we will win it.

A few reasons....all of which are obvious and probably been mentioned before...

Away form is just not good enough. The late goal we let in at Chelsea will turn out to be expensive. It only cost us a point, but it gave Chelsea 3 point advantage over us. At the end of the season I think that may be pivotal.

World Cup ..... Yes it will effect all teams , but I think some one like Yaya knows it's his last WC and he will be ' keeping something I the tank' for this and that will not help us.

Left back...... Neither are good enough at present and it has cost us and will continue to cost us this season.

I think we will finish in 3rd.

But win the league cup !
