It's time for a big clearout this summer. Players like Hart who clearly caused no end of shit last season. We need more winners in our side.

Spot on. Liverpool have the perfect balance of skill and flair along with tenacity and determination. They all fight to win the ball back and initiate attacks whereas you look at our lot we have this arrogant demeanor expecting the opposition to misplace a pass or make a mistake themselves rather than force the issue. Sunderland grew in confidence because of this and aren't the first team to do so.

I can see that his excitement in the general forum (when the dippers were winning) has now carried over to this forum. The 'perfect balance of skill and flair' as opposed to our 'arrogant demeanour'.

they didnt look full of skill and flair today and the previous two games i have seen them, they looked lucky and relied on ref decisions

They've had luck go their way but in the bigger picture they steamroll teams. When you attack constantly at pace it will get you more decisions your way. They'll improve their squad to be ready for Europe. And they have a quality manager. United have a squad capable of handling 4 competitions but their first eleven and manager are nothing special.

Our first eleven is outstanding, our squad players are not individually that good but put them together our ability will win games. There is a fear factor. But our manager is tactically naive and doesn't adapt to the match situation. That has cost us.

He's done a great job there and it won't be easy. But it's Palace we're talking about here. if we turn up and perform on the day, we'll win.... even the Rags won there a few weeks ago

They have cheated, fluked and emotionally blackmailed their way into the position theyre in at the moment along with the most blatant of fuck ups by referees.... skill and flair were thin on the ground today (not for the first time by a long shot) yet they fluked a win...try to look at it from a neutral perspective

Our manager is tactically naive yet despite all thats conspired against him were still in with a strong shout of winning the league?

when Chelsea find you out we'll see what youre made of....

Focus on all our games n win them convincingly. If Liverpool do drop points we have goal difference on our side. I don't think we're going to do it but you always still believe in the back of your mind don't you? Until it's mathematically impossible.

key is winning all the games from now till the end , which itself is a big ask... sill mathematically possible , however unlikely

i didn't fancy them dropping any points today and they did come close to it.. the chelsea game and palace game give me hope !

Wouldn't have liked to be in the trenches with some of the crying babies on here, what happened to positive thinking? You can't influence whats gone before and in the words of Doris Day que sera sera but you do still have the opportunity to influence the next five games wherever they are played.So rather than go to the Etihad and count the empty seats or sit there seething because you are waiting for someone else to create an atmosphere do something positive...................F***ING GO EARLY WITH THE REST OF THOSE WHO GIVE UP SO EASILY and do us all favour because I for one remember those leaving at the play off final and QPR and look what happened then.
