Win our 2 games in hand and we are 1 point behind Liverpool, who have to play Chelsea at home. There is no way they will win all their remaining games. The question is just whether we can win all ours? I'm convinced if we do, we will be champions.

Big if winning 6 games on the bounce especially when one is everton away. Martinez is doing a great job there and they are playing for CL spot. They will give us a very hard match. Will the Likes of nasri/Clichy/Navas be up for that kind of match? Not sure. Those three were missing to often in the first 35 mins yesterday.

Will they give us as hard a match as Liverpool though ? We nearly did the business against Liverpool, we can certainly do it against everton !

If we are going to beat Everton then Pelle will really need to learn the lessons from the first 30 mins at Anfield or we could be 2-0 down again in the first half hour

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

Didn't know where to put this.

Just shows how hard beating us was, if Gerrard thought it was the longest 90 minutes of his career.

"That meant so much, especially when they got back into the game," Gerrard added, after City had pulled back to 2-2 before Philippe Coutinho's technically sublime 78th-minute volley won the game.

"I feared the worst at that point. It was the longest 90 minutes I've ever played. I kept flashing back to how long the clock was taking – longer than all the cup finals and big games I've played in before."

While Everton are playing better football than the last few seasons, I think they are now "more" beatable for us because they will come at us and take us on. We beat them fairly comfortably at home and I expect the away game to be a similar result. Same team as yesterday but Milner instead of Navas.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

We will if we win all our remaining games, liverpool will have a stutter before the season ends. Just need to make sure we take full advantage when they do.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

I dred it comes to the last game of the season and Liverpool only have to beat Newcastle to seal it!!!

We are beating West Ham and Liverpool only drawing. We win before Liverpool match finishes and they score with the last kick of the season!!!

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

nothings really changes for me since before yesterday, we would have had to have won all our games as we do now the only thing thats changed over the weekend is that if liverpool win their 4 matches its over, we may have had margin for error at everton if we had got somthing yesterday however that will most likely swing back to us if/when liverpool drop points with chelea, palace and norwich, many twists yet and i wouldnt raise an eybrow if norwich take somthing off them next week, who would have thought with our last minute sunderland goal 3-3 that it would have been crucial a month later

Yes if we win all our remaining games as I am sure Liverpool will slip up somewhere - but I feel winning all our remaining games is the only way to do it - bot Lpool and Chelsea to worry about rather than just Lpool.

We win all our games and Liverpool draw one we will finish above them as long as they dont have a goal splurge - let us just take one game at a time and I mean not just our game but theirs as well.

This time next week we will have a clearer picture.

All just speculation for now but a thumping win against Sunderland might do us the world of good or we may be nervous.

Regardless of how many goals they score, the best they could do in that scenario is 87 points. Win all our games and we'd be on 88.

If we win all our games and Liverpool draw one we will have 1 point more than them so goals wont come into it.

Big if we win all ours though.
