yep , if everton have qualified for champs league , they will get the cigars and slippers out , when they play us.

really? im not sugesting they would but do you think they would chuck a game 'if they had qualified' so livepool lost the title

no absolutley not , they would want to finish as high in the league as possible and then join in the celebrations with their fellow liverpudlians at the albert dock

They wouldn't outright throw the game, but I can imagine a drop in intensity. It would make it a much easier game than at Anfield (I think even if they are still gunning for CL, it still will be easier).

I am confident about our getting a result at Everton, just as we did on the same weekend in the 2011/12 season. We just need Chelsea to do what we weren't allowed to do at Anfield.

Too many drama queenies on 'ere.

A question to them, if all is lost already, will you still sing your guts out supporting City?

There's still a possibility for winning the title. And City can still win it. #Together.

The fat lady has not sung yet; though many cyber blues seem to think that the fat lady is actually a classless scouser coont who kisses the cameras and shed tears in rugby huddle instead of shaking hands with classy opponents.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

The Palace and Everton games are obviously the tricky ones for us. In 11/12 when we won our last 3 away games we were given a morale boost before each of them. United's defeat at Wigan gave us a glimmer of hope before the Norwich game. We kicked off at Wolves minutes after Everton had nicked two points at OT and the derby win put us in pole position for the Newcastle game.

Ideally we'll kick off at Palace shortly after getting good news from Anfield. And be masters of our destiny before the Everton game.

The worrying scenario would be if Liverpool beat Norwich and Chelsea. We would then be under immense pressure playing Palace. That mood before that game could be as flat as a fart, similar to when we played Southampton last year.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

Overthinking this remaining fixtures lark since yesterday now and the more I think of the possibilities the more upset I get.

Looking at norwich and palace's previous games, I wouldn't put my money on them getting a result against liverpool. Their wins tend to be slim 1-0s, against chelsea included.

Bar chelsea, the other teams look certain wins for liverpool unless they crumble under pressure. I just hope the other teams pull their fingers out.

He wasn't a winner last season when we surrendered the title without a fight and everything seemed such hard work.

he was undone from within, the players didn't want him, had he won the title , or the cup for that matter, we couldn't have sacked him.

odd we won neither.

yep the players carefully planned United would score a deflected free kick in the last minute after coming back from 0-2 down to make it look convincing,
Mancini never beat Liverpool at Anfield but for some reason he would have beaten an even better Liverpool team yesterday ? don't get peoples logic. the only reason we got a point last year is skirtl made a bigger clanger than Vinnie.
I agree MP fucked up yesterday but lets not just start talking bollocks about Mancini

the players stitched him up, we could have walked that league. instead the players saw to it we won fuck all. they knew what they were doing.

Liverpool will drop points in 2 of there remaining games...

You may well be right but people have been saying similar stuff on here for weeks about how their winning run is just about to come to an end. Sadly it still hasn't and them winning their last 4 isn't remotely implausible. Hopefully they won't, clearly Chelsea and Palace will be tough games and they might still shit their pants at some stage but I wouldn't rule out them carrying on their run. It's a shame Chelsea have their CL semis when they do.

Re: Will we win the Prem (continued)?

Not over yet. First thing's first get the win tomorrow and take it from there. Don't win tomorrow and it's game over. Need to respond and we could well gather momentum again

Everton's players won't give a shit who wins the league. They're not fans and will want to win this game as much as they want to win all their others.

People come out with this stuff all the time, it's a load of bollocks. Do you remember when Leeds and united were going for the league in 1992. We were supposedly going to let Leeds beat us but we shat on them. Fortunately they still went on to win the league. Everton will be well up for it as they are against all the top teams at home, absolutely no doubt.
