But why are the FA getting involved? Sounds to me we'd be simply just be quitting one European competition for another.

The FA are members of UEFA and all English professional clubs are members of the FA and agree to abide by their rules.

because UEFA, premier league, FA have already but out a statement saying that , if a club joins the break away they are thrown out

Man City board is Soriano and Silverlake investments. It would not surprise me at all if we are in involved. Liverpool and Man Utd are probably the drivers but perhaps they gave up trying to exclude us. Anyway, let's wait and see.

If I were on City's board I'd be racing to distance City from this asap because the clubs concerned will get hammered and will get no defence at all from their fans.
