"According to @CesarRadioMARCA, Man City and Malaga last night agreed a 7m Euro fee for Willy Caballero, with potentially 4m in add ons."

Is this source reliable though, mate?

Malaga fans seem not to trust the source but there could be several reasons for them saying that, mainly because they don't want to lose their Willy. But where I found this tweet they went on to say the move is imminent because Malaga need the money as their owners are pulling back their spending.

Caballero means cowboy in English

Caballero means "gentleman" or "knight". Vaquero translates to "cowboy"

Only on Wikipedia, colloquially in South America it means cowboy, broaden your horizons.

Hi, Im Chilean and Caballero is "gentleman" or "Knight" like says Better dead than red. the words for cowboy here is Vaquero or Cowboy :P .

Vaquero comes from the word Vaca, Vaca is cow in spanish.

Caballero is a great sing, i watched many of malaga matches and he is one of the best goalkeepers in la Liga.

El Mundo: Unless of any late twists, Willy Caballero will join City in the coming days. Málaga want some friendlies as part of the deal.

City and Málaga could close a deal for Willy Caballero "in the coming hours" according to AS. Pellegrini wants him signed for preseason.

AS says fee will be just over £6m, could rise to £8m if Willy is successful. Zuculini loan unlikely to be involved, but friendly could be

AS mentioned that City have already told Hart that they will fight for #1

Re: Willy Caballero

Is the homegrown quota still a thing? We're going to struggle massively with that considering the players leaving/want to leave.

Re: Willy Caballero

People don't rate this guy enough, fact is Hart is not allowed to cost us with big mistakes and keep his place as no.1. If he's dropped I expect him to struggle to regain his place to be frank. Lopez, Courtois, Valdes, Asenjo and Cabalerro caught my eye in La Liga and whilst Hart is as good as any keeper on his day, these rushes of blood calamaties he makes will need to stop or he will lose his place as our no.1.

On a positive note which we should all be looking at, we now have arguably the second best set of keepers in the league after Chelsea (on the basis they keep Cech, if not we have the best). We have true strength in depth and last season where we were lacking cover for GK, CB, RB and CDM we have bought top players to cover these weaknesses, a CB coming in like Benatia and we have had a brilliant window.
